My Reflection

Dreaming of a Saturday

When we will be together

Ill never have happier days

I pray this lasts forever

 

I'm not the usual guy

Who only calls you when it's right

I'm yours even if I die

And forever for you ill fight

 

It's not about your looks

Or what you do and say

God is first in your books

That's all that matters anyway

 

My life would be completed

And my past is burned and charred

We could never be defeated

Or even scratched or scarred

 

I know you'll be afraid

Of how I show all my affection

This poem shows how I'm made

The mirror with my reflection

 

I know you have been told

This same story before

But THAT world is just so cold

Come to me where it's warm

 

In these things you have my word

And my eternal trust and heart

No matter what you've heard

I just hope that we can start

 

And pay no attention

To the world that wants you back

I'm here, Its my intention

To protect you from such attacks

That I'm telling you the truth

with what you mean to me

This Lonely Soul

The mystical contortions
Of extortions unfold

With the critical exposure
Of emotions untold

Another informality
Where reason can't find it

Separate from reality
Yet constantly reminded

A blue cloudless day
With unregistered kindness

The rules will not stay
Love forgotten is timeless

Incredible, the outbreak
That held this all in

Returns, the cloudy day
With unforgettable sin

One Day

One day of Extreme Pain
Followed by more heartache
One Day of Clouds n Rain
Followed by more mistakes

One day the smoke clears
With a painful road ahead
One day I faced my fears
At times wishing for death

One day inside my mind
Taking longer then expected
One day at a time
I don’t ever even regret this

One day broken n battered
And today ill never forget
One day my pain is shattered
From the moment that we first met

One day I’m mesmerized
Lost within your soul
One day I look in your eyes
And you’re my warmth inside this cold

One day “we” will look back
And laugh this all away
One Day that’ll be a fact
&
Ill then say what I want to say

One day is now the motto
And "THIS" is just so strong
One day may be tomorrow
So I’m here however long

My Friend

She's not who you think she is

"Then tell me who is she?"

Shes lost, she wont feel this

"Why are you telling this to me?"

I'm telling you so you'll listen

"Aren't you supposed to be a Christian?"

I am, but your face will glisten

"Your crazy, out of commission"

I'm warning you of tears

"But she is the one for me"

Pay attention, open your ears

"You cant tell me what WILL be!"

But i will tell you the truth
As hard as it may sound

"Whatever i wont listen
Go away your not earning your crown"

He was always trying to coach

Looking

I keep calling your name
But you never seem to answer
I keep hearing your voice
But the sound i just can't transfer

I keep searching for you
And looking everywhere
Its like i see right through
And then your nowhere

I just cant see your face
So i dont know who you are
Your lips ill never taste
At least it seems this way so far

I keep on reaching down
To hold your hand as we walk
My smile turns upside down
Your not there so we cant even talk

I Cant see the contours of your body
Or the remnants of your soul
I know this pain has shot me
Once again freezing in cold

I wish i knew your name
I just keep calling into the air
My screaming sounds insane
I wish that you were there

I know the day we meet
Ill ask you where you've been
Ill claim victory over defeat
You'll take away this pain within

So ill continue to look
With a heart that is so true
So the last question to this book
