Living Things Especially Humans

I hate every living thing.
Animals only have their instinct
which is why some of them are extinct.
The only thing they know is that they should mate and eat
the reason behind them ending up in hunters’ pit.
Some plants have some spiky thorn
that can make all who touches, mourn.
It can also contain something poisonous
even though it looks edible and delicious.
But I hate human beings most of all.
For humans, at times, may not use their brain
that can put mindless animals to shame.
Some can only continuously give their love and trust,
hurting themselves again and again like in their past.
They can be vicious and hurtful
making others feel like an idiot and a fool.
Some may seem wonderful and pretty
but rotten attitude is what they have, truly.
Though I must say human beings are blessed.
They can look as magnificent as a gorgeous buck.
Luckily, they have brains so they won’t suck.
They can be as sweet as the smell of carnations.
And they were well-endowed with emotions.
Like all flowers, people can beautifully bloom.
They can be anything, maybe find a wife or groom.
How I wish that ‘we’ would maximize our potential.
Cause, as you can see, we, human beings, are special.

The Only Side Is Mine To Give Up

I love you
and I will continue to
even if MY love is forbidden.
Good lord! How much love have I given?
Please forgive me for not giving up.
I know I have to like ASAP.
But I just can’t obviously resist
even with your cold demeanor assist.
Obviously I am so obsessed
but in moving on I’m not the best.
Deep inside I can’t let go
and if I insult, even more so.
I know in the end I will be harmed.
And with stings of love, I’d be swarmed.
But it’s the only way I know to live,
to give your heart and then grieve.
As you can see this may count as love letter.
But soon, I must do better
for there is no good with one-sided love.
Metaphorically, it’s a “one-winged” dove.

A Letter

To my dearest teacher,
I may not be the brightest student you’ve ever had
nor am I the nicest
nor the sweetest
nor the most opinionated
nor the most curious
nor the most charming,
I may not be the student you’ll always remember,
but you are a teacher that I will never forget
for you taught me great things
greater than those you can learn from books,
things that you can only learn through experience,
things I wouldn’t have been able to learn on my own.

You taught me forgiveness
and understanding
and patience
and gentleness
and humility
and open-mindedness
and acceptance.
Those are the things I wouldn’t have been able to learn on my own.

You are my parent
in a home far away from my home.
You are my parent
in a family that is a community, a society.
You are my parent
when I’m away from my other parents.
You are my parent
in sadness, joy, fear and confusion.
You are my parent
that will always be a part of me.
You are my parent.
You are important to me.

I don’t need celebrities to look up to
for you are my idol.
I don’t need DC Comics and Marvel
for me to have a hero
for I have you as mine.
You have sacrificed so much for me
so did my parents,
and the heroes for the place they protect.
You are a parent.
You are a hero.
You may not remember me forever
but I know I will remain in your heart and memory
as you will in mine.

A Taste of the Noise In a Suicidal Head

You are worthless
even if you do your best.
The world without you
won’t feel any less.

You are worthless.
You are a mess.
In this world you’re just a grain,
it won’t matter, even if you feel pain.

You are worthless
even if you do your best.
She can’t even remember your name.
All your efforts went in vain.

You are worthless
even if they tell you “you are blessed,”
for you can’t even make her love you
after doing all that you can do.

You are worthless.
You are a mess.
Just take the knife
and go end your life.

Symphony of Peace

Symphony of peace
I conduct for me,
are sorrowing quiet voice
dripping tears from puffy eyes
and shattering fragile heart.

Welcoming My Friend-

My dear friend is feared and despised.
He can come and visit very disguised.
He might wear disease that is unknown
and take a detour at your lawn.

I suppose he is not friendly
but it’s him I long to see.
Although each of us has the chance,
I want to see him in advance.

He is undeniably hard to predict
but once you meet him you’ll be extinct.
Don’t run away from him, it would be rude.
Welcome our friend, Death, the best you could.

Double Bar

Plucked like strings, a melancholic melody. Hades and Persephone dance till eternity. Buzz in the morning like a flying bumblebee Teardrops in mourning, when the night is silent, chilly. The tempo is going quicker as the years pass by “We are not growing younger,” is the usual reply. New songs will come, but the old songs we will remember In the memories where they will remain forever. Although their laughter will never grace again our ears May this poem memorialize them for the coming years.

Shattered Glass

I am a shattered glass.
Pieces of me have been stolen.
So young to be broken.

I am a shattered glass
who never dared to hope
that I’ll be whole again.

I am a shattered glass
when you came to my life
and stayed on my journey.

I am a shattered glass.
I knowingly broke you
and stole your person.

We are both shattered glasses.
We are both broken and incomplete.
We are the same.

We were both shattered glasses.
We were both broken and incomplete
until you forgave me.

You are now a new glass.
You have a new life,
forgot about being broken.

I was even more shattered.
How and why did you forgive me
when I destroyed you?

How and why did you forgive me?
I need to know the answer
so I can too, forgive myself.

How and why did you forgive me?
I need to know the answer
so I can heal some parts of me.

This Is I

Guilt engulfs me.
Every step, I fear.
I am not innocent.
I am Deception.

I fear trust, responsibility
I fear love
such fragile things
for my soul to handle.

My heart has gashes
my life, callouses.
I haven’t learned the lesson
So, I fear being a person.

Instead of coming out stronger
I ended up weaker.
Things that used to be normal
Is now something aberrant.

I am a person
who is afraid of being like this,
of being treated like this,
of being loved like this.

I deserve none
yet you offer many.
I am nothing
yet you see me in everything.

Fell and Broke

And so I fell.
	And fell.
		And fell.
                      And fell
for a thousand of times.

And then I broke.
A n d b r o k e.
A n d b r o k e.
A n d b r o k e
as many times as I fell.

I don’t know what will happen if I fall again.
I don’t exactly heal every time I fall and break,
I just suffer excruciating continuous breaking.

I don’t know what will happen if I fall again.
I am honestly near to being powdered.
So maybe, if I fall the next time, I’ll be crushed into granules,
or maybe particles.
Who knows how hard I am gonna fall
and how broken I’ll get?

But, if the next time will be the last time I get to fall
before I am pulverized into nothing,
I’ll still choose to fall for you.
Even if I know how this will affect me.

I’ll still choose to fall for you,
Even though it was you to whom I fell a thousand of times.
Even though you were the reason I am this broken.
Because, all along, I believe, you are worth it.

So, even if this is the last chance I’ll get,
I’ll still choose to fall and break for you.

Cause,
that’s how I love you.
