"Don't engage yet to romantic love my dear,"
My Father said with a tear
"Yes, Father"
I replied in despair
'Twas afternoon that I found myself in the office room
Wondering of the decision with a loom
He said he loves me and I love him back
But how could I betray my father's pact?
Jean Piaget says "No" but
Freud and Goleman says "Yes"
With thoughts like a story of a complicated plot
I finally decided with a shot
Forgetting about the promise that I made
I let the feelings sigh with relief
So let the boat of emotions row
Because I was shot with the Cupid's arrow

You are so mute to tell me
the words I wanted to hear
You are so tired to show me
the actions I wanted to see
You are so naive to let me feel
the feelings I wanted to feel
You are so thrifty to give me
the understanding I deserve
You didn't care to the pain you have caused me
Yet,
It is LOVE you told me everyday
Now,
I DOUBT if it is LOVE you showed me.
