Promise I Made

Time can’t ruin the promise I made
To love you forever I said
 You’re my life, my everything
My love for you is unfailing

Then you left me with no reason
Promised me you’ll be back soon
Time passed, days finished
I’m still hoping and holding your promise

Even if I’ll wait forever, I will
Even if time is standing still
You know I’ll wait for you
Even to wait for nothing, I’ll still do

I’m just hoping that one day
You’ll be back with me and say
I’ll never leave you anymore
And will love you forevermore.

Cruel World Out There

If expressing our genuine feelings is now a worn-out sin
And by being what we really our becomes our personal burden
When their prejudice eyes becomes the eye of the world we live in
Where will we place ourselves then, if we’re just innocent victims?

It’s scary to comes out from a self made closet
When coming out makes you a dirty, sick puppy who just sit
Sit and let the world crushed your whole being
So better stay on that closet, lonely but humane in being

Their invading judgments and disrespectful gestures towards us
Are the things we are afraid of, things that poisoned us
Sometimes too much from them wants us to fight them
But how could a sick puppy beats a hungry lion from its century old den?

We just want us to find a place where we can be us
No cursing eyes looking us, no one spit us unjust
We want to play our own part and live as you live
I know it’s not easy but I still believe

So I dream of a world where we are proud and can shout it loud
Where we can dance and express, love and be caress
We’re soon to be there though it’s kind of hazy
But never will I stop praying until we’ll be on that very day
Never will I stop. . .

His Innocence Killed the Frog

You must fly, he said it innocently
Then he threw the little frog up in the air
Watching the frog falling
Brought him in so much laughter

After its painful landing
The creature tried to hop away
But the heartless boy with his whole weight
Stepped over his weakening prey

Standing so proud like he’s the pirates captain
Raising his right fist, owning the borrowed moment
While the green little prey, closer to its death
Numbed with so much pain under the proud boy’s feet

After his childlike imaginations stopped
Realizing that he hurt his green slave much
Trying to know if it’s still alive or dead
He then kicked his slave with forceful speed

He walked closer to where it landed
With its tongue out, the tiny creature is dead
The now silent boy picked it up with a mourning face
With mischievous mind, he put the lifeless creature on a case

He dug a shallow hole, picked some garden flowers
Slowly laid the case on that hole and started its ceremony after
By uttering a personal prayer he only understood
He tried to act crying but he can’t even once

He threw those flowers on the shallow hole
Cried this time while he’s dumping the case with soil
As the hole got covered, he silently stand
Stamped his feet on the covered hole to even the ground

Before leaving, he whispered a serious plea
With a pounding heart, he said he’s very sorry
Sorry for being mean and a heartless little boy
For unconsciously killing an innocent creature
Only because I was overjoyed

Fake Love

like your love
is your fading tattoo engrave
on your chest ironically close
to your human heart
but to why it's fading
coz' it's fake darling

Lay Diamond

In ten years maybe
If God will grant my own wish
I'll be seeing you

In ten years maybe
If it's still meant to happen
I'll have you, my child

When God Is a Firefly

Suddenly it seems so blurry
And universe seems so big
Walking alone is being lonely
Though I’ve done it for so long

The road is somewhat dancing
Affecting my sense of balance
Easily stunned by the flash of lightning
Missing another chance

Fighting without arms on my hands
Leading a path with no decision plans
Acting it weird, feeling so down
So unfamiliar with my own homeland

My dreams are deflating
No more energy to run the train
Slowing down until it stopped
I’m no machine to numb the pain

As falling leaf reach the ground
As it moves away with the wind
My dreams are fading into none
Grasping it hard as my doubts extend

As if nowhere to go now
When there’s so much road to take
Over ruled by fear and future failure
My creation now are made to be break

And though the world is breathing
Moving people on their loud heartbeat
Here it comes a half living zombie
Trailed its feet in a crowded street

As if alive but lost in a dead forest
Where there’s no life exists
Tormented skulls and cadavers on my feet
Painting of black where only blood is red

As soon as the night comes
The moon and dark creatures appear
Crickets singing their confusing chorus
Ghosts are somewhere out there

Counting each uncertain steps
Thinking life would to be end like this
But on spur of a magical moment,
A lucid firefly grant me a kiss

And as it moves away from me
Thousand others explode from a dead tree
Sudden smile was drawn on my face
As those fireflies lined to light my way

While others perched on tree’s fragile branches
My body stilled as I stunningly watches
As they create an alluring scenery of luminescence
I forgot that I’m lost in the middle of absence

And soon I walked along the firefly lane
Worries gradually grow faint and disappear
The moment was beautiful that I forgo the pain
For these specks of living lights gave me hope again

Dancing Alone

I dance to the rhythm of life so graceful and free
And you as my partner, I have nothing to worry
Every steps and moves I make,
You’re there to accompany and correct my mistakes
With you my life will never be at stake

Love fills the air in every moment we share
Whatever life would bring me, I know you’re always there
Whatever they say, I just don’t care
Hoping you and I will be partner forever

But sometimes life is really unfair
Happiness is not always forever
Love comes so fast but disappears like a blast
It comes so sweet but it doesn’t last

And now I’m in the middle of the rain
Hiding all the tears and all the pain
Trying to forget everything that makes me insane
Like a fool dancing alone,
Alone again

Dandelions

or if you ask me
how the dancing dandelion in the valley
survives the summer jive
I'm sorry,
I'm no seasoned for that
I never seen it in to 'to
as I was from the countryside
where the flower doesn't grow

but they say its really
beautiful
more than the
water-colored dandelions
in the postcard
for realness is depth in everything
again, how will I know?
I'm a thousand miles
from where the flower grows

then
just as I remembered the term,
"Aesthetic relativism",
I rested my own silly altercation.

Little Things We Do

There was a time you gave a little help to a lost stranger
By giving him the right direction where to go
One ordinary day a year ago you gave a coin to a beggar
It’s an unpayable help you just don’t know

The smile you replied to the girl’s grumpy face on the market
The sweet hello you said to the lady you just met
The kiss you gave to your granny’s crinkled cheeks
Are the silent, little gestures of love and kindness

The quiet prayer you uttered for only friend
The goodnight kiss for your parents before you sleeps
The sorry you said because someone was offend
Are the good things you’ve done that some people needs

The funny joke you tried just to let someone laugh
The advice you gave to your troubled half
By letting him borrowed your favorite pen
You shared life and take away the pain

We sometimes don’t see those little things we do
That affects others in good way and yet we don’t know
The world needs it every day lets continue to do so
Let’s create a happy, positive earth for me and you.

Crazy Man On the Street

Their life is an art
An abstract one
A trash with a heart
We call them crazy man

With two bare feet they walk
In a cruel street of life
Skin are burned, clothes are torn
In a tortured state of mind

They dance with the rain
Sing under the sun
To ease those lil’ pain
Their world is frustrations and fun

They smile so often, ain’t see them crying
Some are cursing, some are praying
Haunted scars tattooed on their skin
Tells us a secret, a hollow legend

Skinny structure with a hungry soul
Going somewhere with uncertain goal
Ash colored face in a crowded place
Walking through life’s unending maze

Their past is a mystery
We know nothing about their story
They are judged, they don’t care
We judge them and it’s unfair
