A Father Is

A father is
A son, an uncle
A husband, a cousin
A brother
But these are just labels
To me, he's greater
Bigger than my world world once
He could hold me in his arms
A leader, a friend
A role-model
A father is so much more

Enchanted

It seems to come alive at night
This house
From the ground up
Dirty and Grimy
While the sun shines
No life to be seen
For miles around
But the night
Sparks burst
Animals reunite
In longing
The house
But only at night.
