Forgiveness

Forgive me my love for the hurtful words
I hurled from my mouth time and time again
Forgive me for letting you down
for in your time of need I was never around
Forgive me for the long nights
for all the constant fights
Forgive me for the innoncence I took away
for all the help I kept at bay
And lastly forgive me for being anything other than
a loving and caring husband

Suicidal(A Reason To Live)

I am standing on the edge
please pull me back
I have a lack of interest in life
the thrills are gone
the happiness has dried up
the color red looks like rust
my sign reads to heaven or bust
the color blue is every where I look
and pops like a whore's lip gloss
I have returned all that was given to me
I have no joy or glee
from this life I want to flee
but I say to you hold on one more day
I say to you there is always a rainbow after the rain
I say to you there is a sunrise after midnight
you shall suffer this plight
you live on everyday til the sun burns up
so chin up
here comes tomorrow

If you feel suicidal hold on one more day

Down Fall

Pride and prejudice has been ripped from me,
and my strength has abandoned me,
yet my will still crashes against the
breach within.
My citadel a long forgotten fortitude
left to rot and decay.
As my soul seeks refuge in other hosts
to take and mingle while balancing
my mental ballast before it erupts.
With guilt peeking in on me
to remind me i'm still in debt.
While my Autumn years have yet to arrive,
I feel vandalized,sterilized,and alone.
The very root system of my essence
has retracted the twilight of my descent
is not as dark as one would imagine, and
yet I am still a minor in time and
I can not consent to my downfall.

Community Service

Our commander in chief
will soon leave office what a relief
for he has occasion and a reason
to engulf a gulf into war
from the Persian gulf to Capsian sea
our leader to his guilt will cop a plea
for the crime he has committed
and the perfect punishment should be fitted
for all the flack
he should pick up trash in Iraq
for all his lies
from a horse's butt he should swat flies
for his cabinet in question
he should not have access to the button
for the threat of nukes in the sky
he should eat humble pie
for the hour is at hand
where as a country we should tae a stand
and put in command
someone we demand
no more recounts
and questionable elections
for these transactions are but reflections
our time in now
bring home or sons and daughter and leave not one P.O.W

Sunday Afternoon

fried chicken is good
with rice and beans and butter
ice cold glass of tea
and some football action for me

Ring of Fire

The ring fire comes
the heavenly blaze upon us
the consequences of sin
to purify us today

Love Actually

I wanted to know all my life what love was
I search the valleys and peaks
I searched for days and weeks
I gave my time and stole glances
to know the truth I took many chances
I wandered far and near
in search of the one to call dear
the line faded as did my hopes
my fight was gone I was on the ropes
the tuth evaded me
the search divided me
in the end I stopped in my tracks
and vowed to never look back
but then out of the blue it came
for I have had it all along
I looked within myself and found you there from the start
living within me in my heart
