Juliet Levin Poem
It's funny
How we would take
A bullet
For the person
Behind the trigger
And it's funny
How we would love
Someone who is incapable of loving
And it's funny
How we would give it all up
For something that will give you nothing
And it's funny
How we would cry and hurt
For someone who brings you only happiness
And it's funny
How we would lose ourselves
For someone who is forever lost

Juliet Levin Poem
I glance at her
Her
Mine
Not mine
Theirs
I feel the pull like gravity between us
This is where I am meant to be
With Her
She is toxic
We will hurt
We will die
From this love
This love that I cannot lose
But with it
I am lost
If She is my heart
My blood
My soul
My life
My reason there is no flat line on the monitor
Then why
Is She killing me
Because I love her
More than the Sun loves the Moon
The Sun and the Moon are forever lost from each other
But they enter the same sky
And fuel life
Without each other
But Me without Her
Fuels pain
Death
Hurt
It fuels the need for a razor on my skin
She completes me
She drains me
I need Her
Or I am gone
But with Her
I am lost
I am hurt
I am torn
But I am forever stuck
Because in the end
SHE is the only reason I smile
And the only reason I cry.
