Wedding Day

On this day two will become one..
Never to walk again, this world alone..
You will vow to hold each other near..
Through bad and good times, each one wiping away the other's tears..
God will shine down his brightest ray..
The angels will sing with thunderous joy on this perfect day.
The bride will glow brighter than the stars at night..
The groom tall and handsome, glowing with the candlelight..
The two will dance all through the night..
Love shining through each hug and kiss, embracing each other tight..
God and his angels rejoicing above..
Celebrating the beauty of their love..
Angels spreading their gold dust on this new journey they begin today..
Guding them through life's journey each and every day..
Keeping their love strong for each other--never to stray away..

Jesus

As I lay beneath the stars at night..
I feel your presence, and see your guiding light..
I see you walking across this land..
Touching those lost souls and healing the sick with the gentle touch of your
loving hand..
I hear your voice so warm and kind..
A sudden peace enteres into my heart and my mind..
I see you walking across the sea..
Touching the earth with love and all of its beauty..
I hear your hurt and see your pain..
As your tears fall on my skin in the form of rain..
You've been with me and put me through life's test..
I know at times, I give you no rest..
For when I fall on bended knee..
I ask for your guidance, and for you to send someone to truly love me..
You never once turned away..
You let me know you're with me each and every day..
You died on the cross for me to be free..
And you have made a home for me in eternity..
I hear your voice cry in vain..
Because of those who bring you unbearable hurt and pain..
I hear you ask, why do they no longer believe?
I gave them life, my love, my soul, a chance to be free..
And have provided a place for all in eternity..
You died upon the cross for us..
You gave your life, your heart, your trust..
You are my Savior, my Christ, My One and All...
You are my Sweet Jesus standing with arms wating to embrace and listen to my
desperate calls...
For you are, The Savior of all...

September Day

The sky changed colors from bright blue to gray..
A nation stood in silence, in shock that September day..
So many loved ones lost, not to be found..
The world stood still as the towers fell to the ground..
A glimmer of hope for all to survive...
Yet, reality, the knowing, brought tears to the eyes..
So many heroes lost in a brave fight..
So many heroes working day and night..
So many fellow brothers working side by side..
So many of their own, lost, helping to save those trapped inside..
They gave their all, they served with dignity and pride..
The nation stood together each one comforting the other..
On this day, everyone was "A Brother"...
The terrorist thought our patriotism had died, gone astray..
They did not know the strength of the people in the Good Ole USA..
They wanted to take our freedom and more..
Little did they know together we stand united and would even up the score..
For all of the Unsung Heroes born on that day..
For all of those who died for our nation, to save..
To a nation where patriotism has come to life and now sings..
Let us not forget those who saved us, now flying on Angelic Wings..
May we keep them in our heart and soul forever to stay..
Never forgetting that Sepetember day..
Where heroes were born and in our hearts to forever stay..
Where the flag flies freely among the fallen angels bright ray..
One nation united, patriotic songs of the heart..
One nation united, never to part..
September 11th, always in our heart..
Never forgetting the day, our sky turned black, totally dark...

A Thousand Ships Afloat Today

Today I left the one I love..
I had no answers as to why, only pain and suffering from above..
I saw the ships as they set sail upon the tears that fell..
People asking why, but I could not find the answer to tell...
I know in my heart I love him still...
How does the mind let the heart begin to heal..
When it knows the truth that lies deep within...
A love that is meant to be, I sent sailing into a tailspin...
These tears I cry, this river that flows from my eyes..
I cannot hide nor can I disguise..
I see so many empty souls among the ships at sea..
Can I ever find a way to ask him to forgive me?
I never took the time to see..
That his love was real, genuine for me..
I look up to the sky above..
And ask God for his help, to return to me, my one true love..
I ask for Him to guide to me, my love, my soulmate whose tears I feel and see..
upon these thousand ships floating on this lost love sea...
I pray for his return to me forever to stay..
As I am afloat in this mass of tears aboard the thousand ships that are afloat
today...
As I'm the one who threw our love away...
