September Day

The sky changed colors from bright blue to gray.. A nation stood in silence, in shock that September day.. So many loved ones lost, not to be found.. The world stood still as the towers fell to the ground.. A glimmer of hope for all to survive... Yet, reality, the knowing, brought tears to the eyes.. So many heroes lost in a brave fight.. So many heroes working day and night.. So many fellow brothers working side by side.. So many of their own, lost, helping to save those trapped inside.. They gave their all, they served with dignity and pride.. The nation stood together each one comforting the other.. On this day, everyone was "A Brother"... The terrorist thought our patriotism had died, gone astray.. They did not know the strength of the people in the Good Ole USA.. They wanted to take our freedom and more.. Little did they know together we stand united and would even up the score.. For all of the Unsung Heroes born on that day.. For all of those who died for our nation, to save.. To a nation where patriotism has come to life and now sings.. Let us not forget those who saved us, now flying on Angelic Wings.. May we keep them in our heart and soul forever to stay.. Never forgetting that Sepetember day.. Where heroes were born and in our hearts to forever stay.. Where the flag flies freely among the fallen angels bright ray.. One nation united, patriotic songs of the heart.. One nation united, never to part.. September 11th, always in our heart.. Never forgetting the day, our sky turned black, totally dark...
