Thinking of You...

I've been sitting here with the thought of you
weighing heavy on my mind.
Searching for a solution that I can never
seem to find
An answer to these feelings that I have for
you and wondering to myself what am I
going to do?
You are constantly on my mind every hour
of every day and yet if I seen you face to
face I don't know what I would say
Although I go over and over in my mind just what
I want to say to you. I don't know if I would have
the courage to see it through.
I guess if all is meant to be then it will just
come naturally.
I keep that bit of hope that's all that I know
to do and with that I grasp on to the very
thought of being with you.

In Look For You-

I find myself walking around in a daze
It's hard to see with all this cloudy haze.
I look for clearear skies within my own
mind, but without you here, there so hard
                        to find

I look for you in my nights and dream
                        of you through my days.
I miss your laughing eyes and your
                        paralyzing gaze.

People stand around me, so I know
Im not alone, but somehow I feel lost
and my destination is unknown. If you
where here to guide me, I know I could
                        make it through.
I know I wouldn't be lost any more if I
                        could only find you.

                                                                        Searching-

My Dearest Friend

Down by the pond use to be my favorite walk.
It was where me and the Lord would always have our talk.
On days when I thought the day would never end, I
would go for a walk with my dearest friend.

Alway's a comfort, my troubles would fade away.
He would turn my darkest into the brightest day.
But then somehow those days came to a sudden end
and it feels like I've lost my best friend.

I know he's still waiting on my return and if I know him
his arms are open with concern. I don't know how I
let myself drift astray, away from my dearest friend who
has been there every day. I feel so low for putting him
aside when his life he gave for me, yes, the day He died.

I know he forgives me because he loves me so
much and with that in mind I'm getting back in touch.
In touch with my friend who with him there is no end.
An everlasting love is He, and so much more!
He's the one true friend who's to precious to ignore.

Teach Me

Teach me to take one day at a time
Help me search for the comfort I long to find

Give me strength to take everything in strife
Pray for me every day in this time of life

Make me understand that I have so much more to give
and every reason to be alive and to live

Give me the patience to make it day by day
Be my guideline so I can make it every step of the way

Let me know daily what you want me to do
and Dear Lord, I promise to serve only you.

The Light

You could see the light of the light house from miles away
It would shine bright on you as if to say...
Look towards my light if you've drifted astray and I will guide
you back the rest of the way

Standing tall and looking down on all, the lost who will soon
be found if they come to call. Found by the light that shines so
bright that can bring you in from out of the night.

To serve its purpose, that's why it stands so firm just in case
you and I make a wrong turn.
Kind of like our Lord who wants us to do the same. To follow
his guiding light and live by his name
If lost, then his light will guide us along, To bring us safely
                  home to where we belong.

                                                                                            Look toward the Light-

To Be...

To be little again, where I'd once been
To belittle a friend, could one ever mend?
To be tall in height, tall to the sky
To be tall rather than be little, then stop
and wonder why

To all that is.. To all that can be
To be blinded by all, all that you see
To whisper a whisper that seems to shout back
To hear your heart break while under attack
To breathe in life yet forget to take it all in
To exhale your last breath, to lose a dear friend
To every solution, to every equation
relies on an answer with simple persuasion
To want back, once it's lost
no need to savor, then it's tossed

To Every penny dropped, luck to who ever it finds
to every precious moment you live, treasure those times
For every waking hour to the minute of every day
don't waste a second, not a second
for life to slip away...

No Cure

There are two words that one could hear
that would measure up to your deepest fear
That would change the way you live life today
That would have you speechless but
wanting to say...Say the things you've never
said before.
To recognize things of importance that
you use to ignore.
To come to grips with reality that there's
nothing they can do. Especially when those
two words are said to you.
I don't know what will come or what I may
have to endur. All I know is those two words
when they say there's "No Cure"
