Unrequited Love

I wish I had some magical dust to sprinkle in your eyes
So you can see who I really am rather than my masked disguise
By the wave a wand or the chant of a spell to turn your attention to me
Instead of all those “pretty” girls who will never let you be

I would say the spell so sweetly to make me your desired one
Though as nothing lasts forever the spell falls just like the sun
Again the words I wished and longed for vanish with the day
And the dream of being with you suddenly fades away

The love I wished for is gone along with all its wondrous desire
I feel like all I did for us was make a bigger fire
And though my love did make you grow, you turn away from me
To look at the one you really love when you know it will never be

Because we always want what we can’t have, and it continues on from there
Of all those lovers who stay unloved and the effects of love’s despair
While I’m close to going insane with wanting you, I know I must let go
Because loving someone who loves another is not the way to go

A Man Like You

Who would have thought I could love a man like you
One who brings out the best in me and can make me laugh too

Hug you and kiss you I could do everyday
Caress you with my touch and let you have your way

Talk with me and joke with me, Oh I love it when you do
Whisper to me all those sweet nothings and tell me your crazy about me too

Perfect, sexy, charming, and sweet
These qualities in guy I’m sure you can’t beat

Holding me with those arms so masculine and strong
Kissing down my neck assuring nothing can go wrong

It’s only then he flashes me the wonderful smile
The smile that made me fall for him and want to stay for a while

Now nothing will be able to separate me and my husband to be
Because the love we share is something others will never see

I sit in front of him while he feeds me strawberries and whip-cream
Just as the bell goes off and I find it’s only a dream

I lift my head and turn to face the back of the room
And there sits my love and soon to be groom

He suddenly smiles and walks forward with arms wide open
Then up from behind me walks a mysterious person

Suddenly he grabbed her in his arms just as he did me
And all she did was smile as if to say ha, he picked me

To my dismay he was already married and in love
Although I though it was meant to be at least he got his gift from above

When Will It Stop

The world we live in is full of hatred and greed
Not caring about others as long as we succeed
We’re only for ourselves, hey I made it by
For the rest of the world all you have to do is lie

They teach us when were younger to do what you can
But in order for you to do that you must beat every other man
They teach us to steal and how to cheat to get ahead
All around the world all the things are being spread

People being snobby as they pass you on the street
Returning your smile with a frown of bitterness and conceit
They‘re impatient, rude and always on the run
They’re only 14 and already have a gun

They disobey their parents and back talk people of higher rank
They take things from others and don’t even want to thank
They scream and they fight and threaten to kill
They do what they want and live for the thrill

No matter how much we have all we want is more
When ever something goes wrong all we do is declare war
We never give unless we expect something in return
There’s nothing in the world but money that we yearn

The world we live in is full of hatred and greed
Where everyone thinks that their the higher breed
They cut everyone down to make sure they’re on the top
But tell me please, when will it stop

Anonymously Well Known

Beverly is now 20 and an actress known world wide
Though she could have been a doctor she chose a different side
She could have changed the world but gave up on all her dreams
Because she wanted people to love her and improve her self-esteem
Now living in a mansion in the 90210
She knew she was better off than she was 3 years ago

Beverly was once overly plump and average to the core
She never once thought of herself as someone that anyone could adore
With a round face and a body that was ugly and unattractively plain
She always held up her guard and used jokes to hide her loneliness and her
pain
A nappy headed girl that was not at all very pretty
All she ever did was feel nothing but self pity

She now transformed into a fit, voluptuous, and sexy dame
Found herself smack in the middle of fortune and endless fame
She has her hair fixed and her skin tone is now even
She’s a 5 foot 3 beauty and a person people look up to and believe in
Now she has the whole world’s love and a very high self-esteem
When going back to her reunion all she could do now was gleam

She showed of the new her as she pranced around all the men wishing
Then strolled away gracefully to show them everything that they were missing
The girls of the room could do nothing gawk and imagine that they were her
Because now they all gain 30 pounds, were divorced or their lives were a blur
She had so much fun making them regret everything they did in the past
Its all she ever wanted to do but this night wouldn’t forever last

Beverly lived for the love of everyone and the regret of all her classmates now
grown
Though come night fall she cried herself to sleep because she was still all alone
She wasted her life wanting to be accepted and liked by all of mankind
That she wasted years of her life away, years that can’t just be redefined
She is an actress so glamorous, content, and well known
But the way she feels is lost to the world and forever will be unknown
