Evol Spark Poem
I have a little angel who upon my shoulder lies
She tells me stories about heaven, it has golden peaceful skies
I have a little angel, she is always bright and gay
And when i’m sad or feeling down she takes the pain away
One day, I saw a glowing light upon my silver screen
A dearest friend had sent me words that had remained unseen
I opened up the template, expecting pure elation
But woe is me the only words were ones of devastation
They told me I was worthless and I saw that it was true
And now I realize what they say is very far from new
Without my little angel I am lost and I can see
The silence in his golden eyes when I asked him if he loved me
I am screaming for my angel when I know there isn’t time
Her crystal eyes are turning black, pale hands reaching out for mine
She’s sprawled out on her back, stare as vacant as a cave
She is dreaming for a chance to help the one she couldn’t save
I take the hope in silver steel and put it right between my eyes
Going with my little angel
I hope she’s right about the skies

I didn't want to cut the rope
I wanted you instead
But daddy torched my innocence
Placed a gun up to my head
My naivety was gone
12 years is not that long
I fought and screamed and tried to run
But I was not that strong
You see little one, I would never want you dead
I would have rather killed myself than killing you instead
You see mommy has no money
Mommy has no home
And mommy doesn't want you living here when you would be alone
Cause you deserve a heaven
Not a bleeding broken home
I never meant to make you hurt
I know I crossed the line
Just know by taking your life
I was really taking mine
I'm crying on the staircase for the life we could have had
I wanted a life so bad with you
I wish you had a better dad
As I'm opening this bottle
I know we can make it through
I will never leave again because
I'm coming home
To you
