Moments We Share

In the stillness of the moment,
I shudder at the sight

Capturing your soul,
in every flash of light

In this twitch of my eye,
I wink while you go by

You give a smile, then two,
I snap back at you

From the glare in this zoom,
they'll never forget my muse

Through these wonderful years,
you have even shared your tears

With a life of new beginning,
and darkness from the rain

We'll share these moments together,
until you're in your grave

Like two doves that are bound,
your memory will always be around

From the role that is kept,
in my shiny silhouette

A picture of you from my deft,
will remain in a box that is left

Work of Art

You said that it would be,
a work of art

that it would be,
your favorite part

Causing a spark,
that would be dark

Being a canvas in your world,
through these years, which I adored

has left me bitter,
with a scorn,
torn,
& worn

Now this forgotten scroll of paint,
has slowly become your stain

left in a corner only to haunt,
like a bad painting,
ripped apart

a paintbrush you broke off

never to wonder what may have been,
only to commit an artistic sin

A brand new start,
with something new,
with another heart,
a different view

A work of art!

Another fool!

The Lovers

Down the road is a place,
of a graveyard with vined-up gates

As two lovers, they stand and wait,
to bring others to their fate

His domination, chained by his side,
yearning to unleash what they hide

Bound together amongst their rot,
bodies entwined in a knot

Gruesome acts, which they commit
no one escapes their deadly grip

While he feasts on human flesh,
she grins and drinks from their neck

They come together in the night,
damnation for all, before daylight

To Forgive

Heaven smiled upon Hell one day,
shining down a golden ray

Heaven does this every year,
to remind those who cry in fear

Every year, in this shine,
the Demons crawl out, and try to find,
a little taste of human kind

Demons cleanse their souls of disgrace,
while walking through heaven's gate,
for the demons' souls are not forsake,

Heaven forgives them one by one,
taking them from their hellish shun

Only for a day will heaven take,
a Demon away from Hell's Gate
