Umama

She who gave birth to me
She gave birth to a warriour
Though I rip through the streets with no direction
You still manage to give me attention
What did I ever do to be deservant of your love
In my daily life
I always make a choice to raise my voice
Ngiyabonga Mama Ngiyabonga Imbokodo
Jy is die bes
O mosadi tia
All glory you deserve
You're a mother with a positive attitude
And you deserve my gratitude!
UMama

It's a Woman's World

Woman it is your time
Woman it is your world
Daily you live in the cold
Yet you are so bold
Your love will never grow old

Filled with scars
Filled with pain
She goes on
With only happiness to gain

When the world is struggling
She is out there hustling
When the children are crying
She never stops trying
She She She Is Woman
She is rock

I truly hate
How they cannot relate
To how she has abilities
Tossing aside her capabilities
Ironic how she can never insist
But can always resist

Strong she is
When she feeds
When she nurses
And never seem to curses
She gives birth
She gives life
Pillar Pillar Pillar Of Strength

She has passion
She has compassion
She represents an entire generation
She is a moving motion
Woman
Woman

It is your world
It is your time
You are always strong
You are seldom wrong
You are
You are the man
It is
      A woman's world

White Elephant

By my family I was never wanted
Must've been the mouth, the brain that they hated
Living is such a sin I'd have to die to be celebrated
After all I live with these freaks,so how do I remain unaffected?
Even when I'm there my presence remains uninhabited

See,I've met better people
They dress better,look better,have better
But they're always intimidated
I wonder why cause I'm just out-dated
Everything they have was handed to them on a silver platter
Yet I have to work my way up the ladder

All the words they know are bland
What they read and write is simple
Like simply made for the simpletons
       quite simple to read
       so these simpletons believe it
       simply cause they're simply
Simple

No matter how better
They claim to be
They can never knock down my ability
      Cause writing is my capability
And to them writing is an inability
I hold no accountability to how
   they react to my personality
I'm also simple-yeah,simply the best
And if you don't wanna burn, you better get used to that reality

I may be a white elephant to my family,
But to you,I'm your own worst enemy

Was It Wrong

Was it wrong to steal?
Was it wrong to lie?
Was it wrong to cheat?
When you could no longer stand defeat?

Because I had no food
Because I had no cloth
Because I had no drink
I had nothing
So was it wrong to steal?

Was it wrong to pretend?
Pretend that I was good?
That life was good?
Would they have helped if I asked?

So tell me
Was it wrong to steal?
Was it wrong to cry?
When you could no longer try?
What else could I do?
Where else could I go?

I ain't sorry
I can't apologize
I do not want to
*middle fingers up*
Was it wrong?

Take Me Back

Take me back to age six
When I wasn't full of so many, sceptics
Take me back to the dreams
I shared with you when you were still alive
Take me back to the feels
The feels to strive to thrive when I still had the drive
Take me back to age five
Where I would jive just to see you arrive
Take me back to the times
Times I didn't have to fight just to survive
Take me back to my height
Where I'd try with all my might just to reach
Take me back to when you would preach
Whenever you had a lesson to teach
Saying o tla mpontsha "speech"
Take me back to to trends
Before I'd burn the candle at both ends
Take me back to having friends
Before I knew how everybody just pretends
Before my pen would offend
But the only memory my brain sends,
Is to the time where your life ends
The time everybody had something to recommend
Not forgetting the time I would spend
Trying to get my broken heart to mend
Tell me did you really intend,
to leave her for us to depend?
All your 'firstborn' cares about is her friends
Do you know how many rules she bends?
Us she'd never tend to defend
Yeah, nice funeral mom, pity you couldn't attend.

Wind Blown Eyes Wind Blown Ties

My second wind of honesty
Renewing vows with poetry
Honestly, something's calling me
Telling me
All the things that hinge on the precipice of destiny
Hug me please,
Hold my knees
Wiggle doubt and grant me peace
That will ease,
Every ounce in me
Pour me tea,
For an eternity
