Differences Don'T Matter

Everywhere you go
there's different faces
different cultures
different races
People bought up
differently to you
that believe in things
different to what you do
There are people that dress
in a different way
People that think differently
to what you say
People that speak in a
different language to you don't
Some people that do things
that you won't
But just because people
can be different to you
Juding them for it
is something you shouldn't do
If you look beyond the surface
you will see
They may not be as different
as you thought they might be
Everyone has a heart
everyone has a soul
Everyone has those moments
when they don't feel whole
Everyone has feelings
everyone feels pain
So deep down
everyone is very much the same
No matter where someone comes from
wether it be near or far
Get to know them
for who they really are.

To My Children

There is nothing I would not do
just to see your smiles
you two give me the strength
to help me face my trails
Knowing I get to hold you
in my arms so close and tight
makes it worth so much more
to continue on the fight
There is no distance to stop me
from being there for you
to make you happy there is
no limit to what I would do
I will never regret the day
you came into my life
with you two around me
there is no such thing as strife
My love for you will never fade
my pride for you grows more everyday
your special place in my heart
no one will ever take away
Without you I do not know
where I would be
you are both apart of who I am
you both complete me.
