When I Said I Love You

When I said I love you, I meant that no matter what we may ever go through I'll always have your back,I'll always adore you, I'll always have butterflies when I hear your name,I'll always defend you, I'll stick by you through thick and thin and even when I'm not near you, I'll carry you in my spirit and I'll be with you in spirit...

When I said I love you, I meant that I'll pray for you. I won't mention you in passing when I'm praying, but I'll take my time and pray for every area in your life, simply because it's not a small part of you that I've fallen in love with, but I've fallen in love with YOU as a whole..

When I said I love you, I meant that I love the way you are -your smile, the way you laugh, your eyes (more especially when they look into mine and I just can't help but want to kiss you),Your delicate fingers (when you fix my hair), your hands (when you hold my hand?),Your lips ,your voice,Your walk, your sense of humour...You're just perfect and there's nothing that I would change about you, nothing at all!

When I said I love you, I meant that even long after we've broken up,I'll still adore you, I'll still be inspired by how you've grown your talent,I'll still talk about you in a positive way because you'll still have that effect on me. I'll still carry you in my spirit and pray for you day after day
My gift to you will always be LOVE.

Take Me To the King

Take me to a place...
Where I'll scream my lungs out.
Where I'll cry my heart out.
Where I'll end up falling down coz my legs will be too weak to carry me.
Take me to a place...
Where I'll pray.
Where I'll lose myself while worshipping.
Where I'll feel the presence of the angels.
Where I'll feel heaven.
Take me to a place...
Where I'll be surrounded by joy..
Where my heart won't feel heavy anymore..
Where my yoke will be easy..
Where my burdens will be light.
Take me to a place...
Where my emotional wounds will heal..
Where I'll accept the past
Where I'll focus on the present
Where I'll be expectant for the future
Take me to place...
Where I'll forgive as I have been forgiven
Where I'll love.
Where I'll be a philanthropist.
Where I'll have no limits or boundaries.
Where all things will work for my good.
Take me to the King..

A Smile

Easy to fake.

Easy to break

Easy to lose,

Easy to use but hard to get.

It is a one of a kind masterpiece.

It is like glass, one would only realise it is flawed after looking hard enough.

It is said that our flaws make us perfect, but we tend to hide them through something that doesn't even take a minute to show to the whole world, something that we call a SMILE.

Nonetheless, behind every sweet smile is a bitter story which continues to haunt one behind closed doors
.
Tears. Pain. Heartache and disappointments lie behind a smile.

Who knew that the person who gives the most beautiful smile could face heartache at the end of the day?

Value it.
Cherish it.
Acknowledge it.
You never know what it takes for a person to make you smile..
If you're able to get one, give one in return.

A Loving Heart For a Loving Heart

"An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth."
A statement that is common to the human ear.
At times I sit and ask myself this question,
"When will I ever hear a fellow uttering the words: "A heart for a heart?"

If I could count the number of hearts that are broken,I might end up pinning each heart to a star so that I don't lose track of count.

One of the most important organs in the human body, suffers a great deal of pain because of either words or actions done by people who don't value the heart.

If each and every heart that has ever been broken would return the favour, would it be a sin? Would one be considered 'heartless'? What exactly would happen?

I've realised that no matter how many times our hearts are broken,we have three gifts that we still give out..which are Forgiving,Forgetting and Loving despite the pain and through this, more hearts are being broken day after day because at the end of the day,we forgive because we believe that love is patient.

To each and every game there are rules and thus, the rules of avoiding a broken heart are:
The first time is a mistake
The second time is a choice
The third time is just you making a fool of yourself.

We deserve more than just broken hearts that is why I say
"A loving heart for a loving heart.."

I Remember It All

I remember the moment I thought that he was just like any other guy.

I remember being wrong.

I remember loving him so much that even when I was away from him, no guy mattered because he would run through my mind all day everyday.

I remember giving it my all.

I remember it all like it was only yesterday...

I remember crying.

A lot.

I remember the bad months just as much as I the remember the good months.

And I honestly can’t tell you which ones hurt more.

I sometimes wish I would forget all the things that make me love him so dearly.

But I remember it all like it was only yesterday..

I remember the breakup.

I remember feeling so far away from God because I felt like He had taken the only true love I’d ever experienced away from me.The pain was just unbearable.

I remember not leaving my bed for three days.

I remember crying my heart out.

I remember being too weak to stand, too hurt to eat and too emotionally broken to face people.

I remember the pain.

I miiss him.

A lot sometimes.

I wish I could move on just like he did. But I'm not as strong as he is.

I can't just wake up the next morning and decide to date someone who I like, while I know that my all is still focused on the one I love.

I'm still healing.

I won't lie, it hasn't been easy.

Sometimes I can't sleep.

The memories start building up..

The heart starts pounding and tears start falling.

It's time I accepted that they are long gone.

But as for now... I still remember it all like it was only yesterday

I remember it all like it was only yesterday.

I'Ve Drawn My Strength From Healing

I wonder how I would have been if things never ended between him and I.

Would I still put him first like I did, despite the distance?

Would I still value him and see him as the guy that I would wanna be with even though I know that there are guys who are after me yet I'd never give them attention coz I decided that I'm a one man woman?

Would I still utter this powerful statement (I love you) with a deep passion and with the same way I give life to it whenever I utter it?

Would I still boast about the sweet things he'd say to me day after day and consider myself greatly blessed?

And if I had never meant every word that I said, would I have moved on by now? Would I have moved on a week after the break up? A day maybe? An hour?

See whenever something precious is taken from you, a part of you actually dies and thus, you're responsible for giving that particular part life again, because the power is in your hands..

Sometimes we may never have the strength to stand, but all we have to do is allow ourselves to heal as time goes by..

A certain woman I know once said "Tought times don't last, tough people do"
I've decided to be tough and through being tough,I made it through all the trials.

I've learnt to forgive people who I never expected to be hurt by
I've learned to apologise to people who I never meant to hurt
I've learned to love people who can't stand seeing me
And through all this, I can say that I'm a woman of valor and I've drawn my strength from healing..

A One of a Kind Masterpiece

Broken things are normally thrown away because no one sees no reason to keep them anymore.

At times it is said that they are thrown away simply because they have lost their value.

I've realised that there's one thing that I'll never give up on,no matter how many times it breaks and that thing is my heart.

A one of a kind masterpiece...
