Olufemi Oloye Poem
SHE IS MY SUNSHINE
She's a sunshine ?? lighting up the world ??
Like rainfall ?? she washes off the dirt in flood
She conquers her territory, yet with No sword
If you don't believe me, you need listen to her word
I know your rage ?? makes me shiver ?? to the spines
And sometimes it feels like I'm shoved ?? in pines
But a moment of your happiness intoxicates me like fermented wine??
Many times I act stupid and cross my bounds
I've done this many times and I've lost counts
Trust you, you waste no time to hit me with heavy pounds
Still if there's anything I dont wanna lose, it is our bonds ??
My beautiful and sweet one
Smile for me just once
And I'll be happy till dusk
Seeing you happy ????alwaz for me is a must
I promise I'll make you happy from dawn to dusk
And I'll remove from our path every husk
Trust me every snitch will soon go into hush ??
Just to prove my feeling no be "wash" ??????

Olufemi Oloye Poem
I WILL MISS US
I've witnessed seasons
Year in year out
I've seen faces dark and fair
I've met pple strangers and known
Many of a kind, humble and arrogant
I've met, meeting and still gonna meet
Not all the thick clouds is for rain
Not all the bright skies bring sunshine
Not all the springs give fountains
Not even all the smiling faces give you joy
I'm lucky to see a face that gave me joy
A face that gave me reason to smile
A name that sticks to my mouth and lines my heart
Not just a face, but a beautiful one at that
We may be new in days
Even strangers in a far land
But we found our roots
And chose to stick tugeda
We chose to be tugeda
And tugeda we remain
Our moments tugeda had bn rosier
Moments we can describe as a dash to the moon
Moments memorable like a dinner in the air
Moments of smiles and laughters
Moments we feel like babies and pets in each other's hands
These are moments second to none in our histories.
They live and shall live in it till eternity.
Moment has come again Moment of test and and trials
Moments we stretch our hands and no one to hold
Times we lay and no head to place on my chest
Times no finger to cuddle my nipples nor the tongue to make me feel awe and Waohhhhhh
Moments I wish you whisper into my ears for me to feel that sensational feels down my nerves
Moments I wanna be overwhelmed by your presence
Moments I wanna be drenched with your kisses
Moments to stick you your blossom like my life depends on it
These are the moments I dread and scared of
These are the moments I wish could pass over
Moments I wish I could speak and make it pass
Moments when silence ll send tears down my cheek and leave me speechless
Leave me not without breath
Leave me not with the unrest
Leave me not when I need you
Lemme not scream too loud before you hear my voice
Speak to me in that language I understand
Scold me not to bring me down
Correct me in love and affection
Make me feel loved and needed
Make my mind reach you each time I search for you
My heart goes with you
Likewise it delights in you as u depart
Such as delighted as I was when you gave me your heart
Shade me, never shame me
Rate me, never hate me
Live with me, never leave me
With u I wanna spend a life time
For in you I've seen all I like
I stay by the window
With the curtain hanging in my hands
I peep thru the long lonely street
I gaze into the air like I could send it on errand
Wish the breeze could tell me where you are
I wish it could tell you how I miss you
Could it tell you how I long to see your lovely face again
I wish my wishes are lyrics
I'll sing it in foreign tongues
And write it in many languages
Wish I could lure the birds to back me up
The breeze to help modulate
Would my voice be sonorous
Or would it be electrifying
Would it make sense to you
Would you smile for me
Would it make you cry
Would the tears roll for me
Would it would it would it....
Till we see in warm hug
Till I lift you in the air
Looking into ur eyes in the air with a warm and affectionate smile
I wait for the day like the camel waiting upon the the arrival of the rivers
Line the dry grasses longing after the coming of the rain
The grassland ll be green again
The cloud ll be clear to see
The river clean to drink
The sunshine ll light our world again
And the kids ll jump for joy
This is the day on my mind
The day of your return
Till then, I'll miss a life we lived
Love you till beyond now

Olufemi Oloye Poem
IT'S UNDERSTANDABLE WHY SOME OF US RUSH FRUITS LIKE APPLE, RIPE PAWPAW, MANGO, ORANGE AND MANY MORE.
WHAT I DON'T GET IS WHY FEW OF US STILL CAN'T DETATCH OURSELVES FROM FRUITS LIKE LIME AND LEMON
DESPITE HOW STRICTLY SOUR THEY TASTE.
SAME APPLIES TO THE CHOICE OF FRIENDS WE KEEP.
EVEN WHEN FEW OF THEM MAKE US CRY IN THE CLOSET
WE STILL CANT LET GO OF THEM.
MYSTERY OF LIFE.

Olufemi Oloye Poem
CELEBRATED TODAY AND ALWAYS
She is quiet and meek
She's nice and lovely
Talk about purpose and focus
Determination and zeal
Willingness and readiness alwaz ready and relentless
I speak less about her beauty
Others can testify to the power of her smile
Free minded like air, holds no grudge
Full of charisma and carriage
So rare to find the beautiful and the brainy
You don't find the so common
Graced with rays of intelligence
You can be assured of her competence
Never wear the shoes of negligence
Nor dressed in the robe of pretence
Can be so sure of her relevance
But don't try with her any nonsense
Happy birthday to you today
It is the day special among all days
We ll celebrate you today and always
Not a mistake today is Monday
It is the day that the Lord has made
Bigger and better you always
Happy birthday

Olufemi Oloye Poem
Uhmn...
Now I see that the dice is cast
With each racing so fast
Everybody standing from afar
Waiting for the number that turns last
He might be lucky to have it double
But rare to have it in Triple
But wen it a rolls over board
Human.. U are in trouble.
But lucky you my sister
They are double talented brothers
Same of a father and mother
Their talents hunts but never murder
They all stand tall in their nest
Doing what they love best
Forget about the rest, they have less
We stand so tall
We ll never fall
Even if we don't play ball
We can stand d thud of the comet when it falls
And when jungle roars
We stand and defend our call
If you are still confused
Check out the numbers a star is fused
I'm sure you'll be amused
It's us, the great one indivisible

Olufemi Oloye Poem
MESSAGE TO MY CRUSH
In this season of red and white
I wish I could express myself without anybody asking me why
Even when I can't deliver flowers at your door
Nor tag your names to the roses
I wish I could say my words
Without been hurt by the swords.
Wish I could hold your hands and say it all
Or hold you close and whisper in your ears
All I've kept back for years
Wanted to speak but held back by my fear
Now I'm choking and can no longer bear
Wish I Could lay and make you feel my beats
And tell you I've got words unspoken
Wish I could tell you that I'm a friend that's proven
We don't have to be in same coven
But you need to hear those words unspoken
Still wish I could find a mother in a friend like you
Or a sister more closer in June
Or nurse tu cure me of my flu
I just wish it is you
And no one else aside you
Can I lay my head on you without paying a rent
Can I move close to smell your neck
Or just lay on your laps a while just for a rest
Just to feel like a bird in its nest
Don't worry I won't get to do the next
I'll be calm and you'll never vex
Wish I could hug you and tell you what it means to be a friend
May be lift you up to show you how much I miss my friend
Or just a mild kiss to tell you I like you till no end
The road may be long but I'll be with you at every bend
May be when you look into my eyes, you could tell what's within
May be my beats you could interpret
At last my trapped breath you can help me release
Bother not your mind and try not predict
All I need you do is just believe
Beautiful friend from a far distance
I blame the world that puts us in this stance
Fulfilling all my wishes it has failed to enhance
It hurts each time it hits my remembrance
What I adore most is my acceptance
I've come to like you and I need no repentance
Dear loving beautiful friend from a distance
I've found no matchable case to use as an instance
For all others can't match with your fragrance.
You're full but without arrogance
Even far across the bother you still grace my remembrance
Let my words reach out to you
Let it cushion whatever you lay on
My wishes I cast to the air like a spell
Let it reach you like a wide spread blanket
Laying so gently and swiftly on you
Keeping you warm for the nite and beyond
As you lay to rest and dream along
This is coming from a friend
In whose heart you belong

Olufemi Oloye Poem
Swiftly the wind blew
We thought it'd be but a few
But it left something so new
It was a sad and unpalatable news
Just when we were asking
We thought you'd still be breathing
We are left with our jaws hanging
When we were told what was happening
Our hearts are broken
From us all you've bn stolen
A good friend now to be frozen
One of our finest has bn stolen
We prayed and were waiting
It came and we were wailing
Same you that we were hailing
Now watched your breath as it was faiding.
Father receive this soul
For we loved him so whole
We thought together we'd grow old
Now your departure has dug a hole
Who will take your role
Arranging the files in roll
We lean and wail leaning on the pole
As our hearts are caged in cold.
Rest in peace my friend
Rest in peace till the end
On our knees we bend
And to the wind we send
Let our colleague get to the end
Never leave him till he's laid
On the bosom of his creator
Where he finds his everlasting rest.
I'll miss you my dearest brother
Till we meet again
Rest, rest and rest my brother.

Olufemi Oloye Poem
MY WOMAN
Shout out to the woman in you
That strong and resilient spirit
Not many women are lucky to have been blessed with it
You're simply a lucky one
Not just lucky but uncommon
Not just uncommon but unique
Kudos to the Lady that could sail safe in the ocean of my turbulent anger
I doff my cap to that Lady that remained calm even in my deafening silence
Honour be that Lady that lost no single strand of hair when fixing my anomaly
She bore shames and concealed her pains during my shameless deeds
She bottled her fury and shrank her many agonies in her tiny veins
She held back the fire in her tongue and tightened her fist
Just to contain the explosion inside of her
She had a thousand words to speak
Yet she looked into my eyes and she could only say a little with her tears
She shivered, yet unshaken.
Many times she cupped the molten fire and cage it within her ribs
I wonder why she hasn't roasted her heart yet.
She's beautiful, even in her blue mood
She keeps her cool even when I make her feel like a fool
Sometimes I wonder if all she did and does are true
But I am sure, you can't find such of her like two
My diva my lover
Thus so far we've come
Still I know I owe u in sum
But I can assure you, I'm never gonna leave you in the slum
My angel my queen
I may have got numbers but I bet you, you aren't on no queue
You've got my heart, my beats and such the rhythm of my blues
This is all but for you
Your calmness, meekness, humility, gentleness, tenderness and respectfulness
This day is for you because you made it come
Happy us again
Happy us today
Happy us forever.

Olufemi Oloye Poem
SAVE MY MOTHER, AFRICA
Poor Africa, why have you allowed your ancient precious priceless beads taken away frm you while coveting after a common coated carved stones from the foreign land?
Where were you when your artifacts were shipped to the land behind the oceans
And your Children worked by the mill day and night
They took away your treasured garment and sealed you with an ''unsuitable suit'' from a distant land.
They inserted straw in a bottle and dip it in your mouth, but fix hose to your anus and passed it into a tank.
Draining your blood in the name of exchange
They took away your staff of office with which you have peacefully and successfully lead for centuries. They gave you guns in return to scatter your wards around, thereby losing ur respect.
They once respected you, now dread you
No longer the you they knew
Dear great Motherland where is your sense of supremacy of those good days, before u were made to look inferior?
Will you still allow this train to continue with d hopeless journey?
Where all we now live for is nothing but money
Now we treat one another line monkeys
O great Africa hear the call from your womb
The child therein is due for delivery
Tighten not your cervix the passage of life
The future sits uncalm inside of you
The entire world awaits that unique cry
The birth of the future, the new world
Unchain yourself from the shackles of the West
Create your path trough the jungle
This is the forest from where you were raised
Where the paths to the streams and ranches
Paths to the mountains and the valleys
Your children raced and long for everyday
Call out your lost children behind the seas
Scattered across the deserts in their search for greener pastures that never exist
Call out in your slangs they know your voice
Let them come home to rescue the hailing mother
Our mother is sick and losing her breath
Fellow brothers and warriors on sojourn
Rest not in the land of your captivity
Run back home and heed the call of mama
Our mother has taken up a another father
Our step father rapes her day and night
Now about to die with her pregnancy
Come rescue our mother the mother Africa
Save the life of her unborn baby the new world
Time to leave the barn and head home
Home is where we come not their Rome
Romans built their home
Africa must build her own
