Wanted To Live Life

you were my best friend
and I was yours
we wanted to soar above the stars
and land among the wonders of life
we wanted everything
but to me you were everything
We wanted to live life in all we did
but when all else failed
we had each other in all we did
when she said she was lonely
I would come up behind her and hug her
she would smile, laugh, and kiss me
and every day we grew and grew
living life as we saw it
playing it by year

Summer Is Here

Summer is here
beautiful sun blazing down upon us
sweat dripping endlessly
soothing Summer breezes crawling up our legs
Summer is here

Sizzling sound of hot dogs and burgers on the grill
children screaming with joy, chanting
Summer is here

Dogs playing fetch in the deep green grass
Moms and Dads laughing till tears come down there cheeks
Parents saying its Family time
in the meadows leaves swaying with there smiling edges
Finally Summer is here

Life

I was once sought to be cool in life
but now I wish it was all my sight
And now there is no light for me to follow
So where will I go in life will I awake and this would all be gone
Or will I stay asleep and fall in my own sorrow
Will they be forgiven for there sins
or will they grow and sill become a larger than life figure
And begin to pound me into the ground
But it went all away when i awoke
because I want to be just

Stars

some people say
some people say that we will never grow up
we will stay young forever
the skies the limit
some people say that is partly true
the sky is the limit but the stars are our check points
we don't know where to go
but we know we are going some where
some people say that they have no purpose but
reach the stars and then you will know where to go next

On a Night Like Any Other

On a night like any other

On a night like any other
She asked me how I was
I replied
Just like any other
I lied
It was not
 A night like any other
I lay there crying
I really did
She broke me in two
Like a twig
I guess she really didn’t care
As I lay there in my bed
She said
For her last time
Goodbye
On a night like any other
She kept on asking me
How I was
I kept on telling her
Over and over again
 just like any other
Then I got curious
she had to have cared enough
 to ask about me
maybe she is starting to see
She may be starting to grow on me
She knows that she holds the key
The key to my heart
But eventually
When she asked me
How I was
We began to talk
All day and all night
I would go into a deep sleep
And dream of her
when I couldn’t see
She would lead me
and every night I would say
It was not a night like any other
It was a night that people had dreamed

If

if people let me in I will kill them
if people let me see I will blind them
if people let me walk I will trip them
if people trust me I will make them think again
if people let me be free I will destroy them
if people let me be me then I will be me

Earth

earth is a delight
but on it id such a fight
you can fly a kite in the summer air
but in the distance can come such a scare
but we seem as we don't care to bare our arms
when in harm we come in swarms
but soon after there is a storm
there is light in the night because when all else fails
earth is earth with millions around but may seem brown
but your just such a clown some may drown out of town but always
come back as if they are holding on

A Story

as the light slowly faded and the dark night engulfed the land
Sitting in the dark of the night, in the midst of loneliness
as the sun sets down on the horizon, i sit back up, trying to get a glimpse, of the journey ahead
I stare at the blank page, trying to write the thousand and one thoughts running through my mind
i find myself drawn into a deep, dark corner, far away from the happiness and joy that graces the occasion
lonely, confused and sad, it feels as if i was just a shadow of the day, in light i exist and in darkness, i am gone
far away in the distant horizon, the sun slowly starts to set and makes way for the dark, moonless night
alone and none to care for, but now things are different, things have changed; walking the line between sanity and insanity
i stare into this crazy world, waving a small white flag, hoping to find a truce to this madness

We All Dream

A dream is a dream
we all have our thoughts
we always think to ourselves
but we all dream
we all dream differently
when we dream we feel at ease
people have done things that they dream
but dreaming is not a privilege it is a right
we can do all things if we believe
but in our dreams we have no one to bring us down
but if we don't dream people will bring our thoughts and our well being down
so dream as you please and continue to believe
