I Ruined Your Suit

I have ruined
your brand new
Two thousand pound
Dolce Gabbana suit

I am aware of
how cruel it was,

Forgive me, but
when I saw the grin
on your face
the glass of red wine
gained a will of its own
and slipped out of my hands

If I Were a Dress

If I were a dress,
I’d float in the air like a butterfly,
I’d wrinkle and shimmer
As the breeze would stroke my fabric,

If I were a dress,
I would be fragile as flower blossoms,
My silken material would flow through fingers like a river,
And every touch would feel like a rose petal,

If I were a dress,
I’d have a radiant glow,
My lavender shade would attire all eyes ,
I’d gleam illuminated by the sunset shin,
