Because I Love You

In my hands 
I hold your knife
Contemplating whether I should 
Take my life
Not because of self-hate but thoughts
Of losing you
Never do I want to go on without you
Especially not this soon
For I feel as if you complete me
Your my better half
That one that holds my heart
The only one I've ever had
When I think of you
I see you leaving me
Why I'll never know
Because I believe we're meant to be
Everyone else who has said they'll stay
Has left me behind
but your the one that must not 
Because I need you in my life
With a pen
On my forearm I draw a dotted line
I tell myself its my body
All mine
yet in my hea I know
That to you I partly belong
Then again I think
My last breath will be the sweetest song
just this one single line
One final deep incision 
A puddle of blood
To keep me from living
No more pain caused by fear
There will no longer be any sorrow
I'll be able to avoid the word 'bye'
Because there will very well be no tomorrow
I could not take it
To see you walk away
I do not want to live only to see that day
I'm trying to escape from whats in my heart
Feelngs and thoughts that everyone will let me go
Then again to be honest to you and I
Unless I live I'll never know
