Life Is a Dance....Part Two

The whiners
No faith in yourself
Thriving on the internal poison
That surges through your veins
You see no good in yourself
Therefore, you pounce on others
Trying so hard to bring them to your miserable level
So sad, you can't embrace the dance of life
Your brain, your heart, so flat, moving only in one direction
A journey of nowhere

To the brave of heart
Who can give and take on every level
Embrace your love of life
Live with every fiber of your being
Because, life is a dance

Get Over It

Frowns galore
The negative
Holds so many captive
My ears have heard
You can't do that
Yes the hell I can
Dwell in the land of pity if you must
This soul will not be taken prisoner

Summer Colors

The sun is dipping
On the western horizon
The backdrop
Beautiful hues
Yellow and blue dominate
Summer colors
Breath taking

God Has You....A Dedication To the Victims of V. Tech

Your smiling faces
Promising futures you had
But someone full of hate
Who blamed his ills on others
Instead of taking responsibility for them
Has ended the lives of happy, loving people
Something he was not
Your family, your friends
And the nation are grieving
Those who knew and loved you
Will never forget you
You still live on
In memory
Your souls are with our father
God has you

I dedicate this to the families and friends who lost their loved ones. God Bless!

Leave Me Alone.......You Don'T Know Me

So you think
My job is beneath me
Only business matters
In your warped minds
Educating little ones
Is where my heart is
Leave me alone...You don't know me
If you did
Your opinions would not be voiced

I Walk Alone

I glance up
The sky is blue
A beautiful sunny day
Wanted to walk this earth with you
And only you
No longer do I dream of that
Content I am
Finding a place within
Understanding myself
And liking what I discover
Ever lasting journey of what I need and will seek
One day love will prevail
Until then
I walk alone

What Was So Good

You asked if I could love you
My heart was ahead of those words
Wonderful chats into the wee hours
Laughter that had me in tears
True, I tore it apart
So bad I wanted it back
I no longer dream of that
What was so good
Is now just a lovely memory
The past, forever gone

Looking Forward

The future
A bright light
No gloom
Happiness is for the taking
I was lucky
No cancer was found
A winding road lays ahead
My journey
Travel I will

Amen

Are you troubled
Broken down
Turn to God
Give him your sorrows
Have faith
Believe
No matter what turmoil you face
He will be with you always
You can prevail
Dig your heels in
Look up to heaven
Amen

My Little Ones

My little ones
My loves
I missed you terribly
Your bright eyes
The laughter
Even the tears
My health has improved
So forward I look to being with all of you
I am your teacher
My little ones
