State of Mind

Heart seems to stop, all things become scary,
The mind becomes dark, but tired and weary.
Both silence and sound makes desperation seem loud,
Boundaries and limits arise as hopelessness covers your eyes.
The physical pain seems like a hope,
the souls deepest corners covered with mould.
Uncontrollable horror piercing the soul,
No way and no chance to keep the control.
You want to scream, to cry and to die,
Just to get rid of this moment in time.
The beast of depression devourers the past,
it covers your essence with dark dirty cloth,
It brings you these feelings that you can’t avoid.
The future seems hopeless the dreams disappear,
No joy and no pleasure can come to you near.
Your all in his grasp the powerless being,
It takes away all sense and all meaning.

After a While

Waves of freezing emotions turning,
The cold, so powerful it feels like burning,
Uncontrollable flow of uncertainty,
Ice locking up efforts for comfort,
Feeling of urgency, of wasted chance for solution,
No safe place to run, no happy place to hide,
White snow outside, black clouds inside,
Covering frozen ground, distancing warming sun,
Back to an old ways, recollecting the old days,
Time lapse rushing and erasing,
Back to the old, lost in the flow,
Continuing, returning, same words repeating,
Days keep on turning,
No long term solutions,
Just same old confusions.

Subconsciousness

Big black room,
 No physical presence around,
Only shivering cold in the air.
The scent of fear and anger,
 The lingering feeling of loss,
 Feeling of abandonment and despair,
 The madness floating around.
Love, there is love in a small corner,
 Devotion pushed against the wall.
The naive little giggle of the child,
It can be heard if you listen closely.
Sweet, sickeningly sweet stench of pleasure,
 Of guilty addictive pleasure lingers,
 Engulfing everything,
 Its fumes poisoning the air.
The mortal soul lives in here,
With all of this it lives.
 It still breathes it all,
 melts in it.
 Waiting for the end,
 Hoping it will come soon,
 the eternal rest,
Till the end will come, will end it all

Another Round

I drag myself in to a dark cold room.
Suddenly the strobe light comes on,
 Flashing around like white lightning.
My head starts to spin, I feel nauseous.
Every millisecond of light reveals a face,
 Different faces flash around me,
Some of them I haven’t seen for a while,
Some of them I come across each day.
I feel a blow to my stomach,
Another one to my head, it keeps on coming.
The stinging pain hits my soul,
 I can’t hide, I can’t defend.
Blow after blow, hit after hit.
 It seems familiar, the pain.
 And then it stops, gone.
No strobe light, no faces, no hits.
Pain still lingers, slowly fading away.
 And the light appears,
Coming from an old dimmed light bulb.
 I see mirrors around me,
 Dusty cracked mirrors,
And the face, the bloated disgusting face.
Eyes full of tears, with no life in them.
I light up a cigarette, my knuckles bleeding.
I look and I know there’s no way to run,
No way out of this room,
 No safe path to take.

The Chosen Path

Grave filled with papers
 Illnesses and diseases around
Words and numbers full of pain
Like black plague sinking in to the soul
 Every day the same pattern
 Every minute same agony
No reasonable escape, no clear path
The loss of control over mind
 The stress induced aching inside
Tired of trying tired of fighting
The egsistence, the end seems determined
Can’t escape the feeling of living on the edge
on the borderline of redemption, the imminent escape
Everything and everyone seems temporary, lost in a haze
Life ruled by minutes ticking out, by things gone by
Too much thinking, digging in the past
Present day drowning in a sea of regret
Neglected duties piling up, threatening the future
The unbreakable circle, the same routine
No pleasure to be found, no point to look for.

Daily Melody

The line still exits, the cravings still strong,
One minute its closer another it’s gone.
The gaps between pain seem to close down,
The pleasures arrival no were to be found.
The minutes of loneliness bringing the peace,
Still not capable of erasing unease.
Alice in chains ringing inside,
Lyrical theme replays in my mind,
Heaven beside me... Hell within.
Words leave less meaning, silence seems warmer.
Incompetence ruling the mind, no excuses to ponder.
Longer and longer the soul seems to wonder,
Unconsciously looking for pain to fall under.
The line between fantasy and reality blurs,
The hope is full of stupidity and fantasy burns.
The trash can of feelings, recycle bin of emotions,
Filling up fast, as days pass burning emotions.

Daily Walk

An old beaten up soul roaming the streets,
The once shiny places seem incomplete.
He’s hard hit by its own misleading ways,
By the constant memories no one can erase.
Its stumbles along and leaves no traces,
The old visited and forgotten places.
Holding on to lost feelings with once beautiful faces.

Stumbling through potholes, ruins of the past.
The passersby don’t see him, or he hopes they don’t.
Step by step same old pain, turn by turn.
Dragging the weight on his shoulders he can’t lose,
He looks for the end he decided to choose.
Each morning the same, each evening the pain.
Just walking and searching in vain.

Past, Present, Future

Past haunts the present,
 Past lives in the future.
It crosses paths with what’s to come,
Shows its face when you don’t expect.
Casts its shadow when you think you escaped,
 mistakes felt, feelings lived through.
Choices uncovered comes back to you,
No point to run or hide from what’s left,
It will be beside the secrets you kept.
It will follow filling the hollow
spaces and places that mind hides and erases.
Heart beating rhythm, time won’t forgive them,
Mistakes, choices and old lost voices,
Conciseness burning and life keeps on turning

Little Hope

Break the damn mirror,
 Burn the stack of photographs.
Erase the text files, clear the history.
 Numb the mind with pills,
 Drink and smoke what kills.
Make every morning a new start,
Hope that experiences makes you smart.
 Meet what future brings,
 Live for the new frills.
 Illusions and day dreams,
 Fantasies and night dreams.
 Get a grip, keep control.
Let the soul keep hold of the hope.
 The sunny skies, rainy days
All the good and the bad ways.
Hope that prophets words isn’t true,
That you can really get through.
The past will still be around,
Just hope that the peace can be found.

Child of the Sun

You were born three ears a go,
A beautiful angel in the eye of the storm.
I feel so lucky to watch you and behold,
Spreading your rays of warmth form the soul.
I was just a person living unknown,
Until I saw you breathing and you took a hold,
Of my life and all that I know.
My life changed in so many ways,
Child of the sun spreading your rays,
Sharing the wisdom and higher love.
I’ll do everything, all for your good,
 Unselfishness is my only rule.
I’ll cherish each moment we spend till the day,
You decide to part on your own way.
My love will follow your beautiful heart,
For mine beats only for you from the start.
