Omg! I totally just got the newest smart phone.
Hmmmmmm, but I can't find the buttons or hear
a dial tone.
I've been so amped about the coolest technology.
And I can lock the screen and I don't even need a key.
I can access the World Wide Web with a Google search.
And now I don't even have to get out of bed for church.
I can talk to you and listen to all your drama,
And then make a 3 way call to check on my mamma.
So excited about the worlds most recent contraption.
I'm so cool, even though my bank account suffered
absurd subtraction.
I rarely see the light of day anymore.
With my new app, my groceries are delivered
From the store.
Before I had this phone, I had some insecurities.
Now I'm a narcissist and take lots of selfies.
Everything now is automated, I don't need to talk
To a person.
However, it's frustrating at times and I through fits
and get to cursing.
So much space I have for the coolest apps.
Oh I just got a text,
Awesome he yelled at me in all caps!
It's a gadget, a device, no wait it's super phone!
No more collect calls being made to home.
I'm certain my face has left an imprint from
Staring at the screen all day.
Can I get cancer from that? that's not really a
Bill I want to pay! Lol

Pursue all that you are meant to be.
It'd be a mistake to give up on your dreams.
Each step until you get there is going to be rough.
Don't give up, cause you're worth it and enough.
People are cruel there's nothing that can change that..
It's discouraging I know, keep moving and don't look back.
Each time you feel one step closer to your dreams.
Life with hit you with a blow, she's not fair and she's mean.
It may have knocked you off course for a moment.
But you will get back up and beat your opponent.
You will inspire others that gave up long ago.
Soon, facing fears becomes all that you know.
You will exhaust and grow weary of the battle several times..
But you are strong, and courage like yours is so hard to find.
When you finally get there and your standing on your mountain high.
Now there's nothing in your way, so reach for the sky!

A confession. It will be my truth.
So my spirit may heal and in time will soothe.
To repent to him my sins.
And promise to never live that way again.
To kneel before him is what I must do,
To show him I am a child of worthiness too.
To pray for forgiveness for all I've done wrong.
He will gladly take my hand and guide me along.
A past wasted on failure and regret.
"No child" He whispers.
They where all lessons and they are not over yet.
You have a destiny child and to fill it you must,
But you can not unless it is in God you trust.

You could not see me coming, no way to be warned.
All the hurt inside me, I am the eye of the storm.
Calm trickery surrounds you.
The scenery quite a majestic view.
Then the madness astounds you.
Left standing are very few.
I will prevail that which disturbed me.
I've remained silent far too long.
For those that made me suffer,
will know that they were wrong!

The beginning of anything,
Or the start of something new.
Tonight is the night,
She will make a grand debut.
There will be glasses filled
With champagne.
And at midnight as she arrives.
All over the world,
A toast will be made.
She brings with her so much
Opportunity for each.
For some it may be love, money or
Success.
And for others, it's a new lesson she will teach.
So as we gather and wait, the crowd cheers and the countdowns
Begun.
A few moments later....... HAPPY NEW YEARS ACROSS THE WORLD TO EVERYONE!

Perseverance through all your trials.
Sometimes its hard to fake the smiles.
To be strong enough to keep it together.
But to handle with the grace of a feather.
They can never know you are weak.
Even though its hard to speak.
The thoughts are all jumbled,
Your insides all crumbled.
Keep pushing on anyway.
Soon after dark becomes day.
Before you even notice the difference.
It pays off, all of that persistence.

It's all about me...
Not a single care in the world!
To busy with my own problems to spare change to the homeless girl.
The hustle and bustle of life's demands are so challenging.
It moves so quickly,
Whose even got time to think of those things.
I'm in control of my life.
What's wrong and what's right.
I was in such good control,
That it all fell apart that night.
Since the night I'd received that
Heart stopping news.
I've spent the last three years
Trying to seek you..
I know you know the countless tears I've cried.
And, I know you know I died the night she died.
You called her home, and for my selfish reasons didn't agree.
I was furious with you..
And left with voids filled with despondency.
My repressed emotions just got worse over time.
My symptoms were broke. Jobless, homeless.
And I still refused you due to my foolish pride.
I'd read your word and pray.
And I would really honestly try!
But the cycle kept repeating
And I lost every time.
I would get strong enough to get back up,
And I'd be doing alright.
Then you'd send another storm to break me,
And mess up my life..
But finally, I was blessed when you did reveal the truth to me.
IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU SWEET CHILD,
IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!

The world rid with filth, might ought to give it a rinse.
I am a vision that does not make any sense.
Oddly shaped, not symmetrically put together.
A crackling voice that does not calm the weather.
The clouds collide, when I come cracking down.
The skies light up, and the earth shakes the ground.
My wrath is almighty, its fierce and loud.
There is nothing quite like my obscure sound.
I give you opportunity and you close the door.
I am the voice of GOD in which you chose to ignore.

I'm feeling a little silly today.
Life's too short to be pissed away.
Uphill, downhill, no matter life's delays.
No way to prevent it, so smile any ways.
Act a fool and laugh at your self.
They say laughter is good for the health.
Be a complete ass, tease and poke fun.
Brighten up a dull moment in the life of someone.
You have friends, cool! Make more.
Start to socialize more than before.
Take lots of pictures, selfies are the best.
All those memories with far less regrets.
Make time for you 'cause you're number one.
Live to be happy and spread the fun.
