School

School
What’s the point
Five times a week for seven hours
We sit at a desk
And watch the teacher talk

Sleep is grabbing at my eyes
While my teacher is teaching
Getting yelled at for not paying attention
And now l’m sitting in the hall

Each year gets harder and harder
Classes attack me with harder questions
Always asking questions
Kids looking at you because you got it wrong

Always feeling like a new student
Chomping through the halls
Hiding my face in my jacket
Waiting for the day to end

You get through grade school
Then go to middle school
Up to junior high
Then finally high school
Whats the point
