Did You Have To Say It

DID YOU HAVE TO SAY IT?
You stand rooted before the cameras,
Aiming your temper before the lenses,
Jostling your tongue with hatred,
Just because you failed to agree,
With another pillar that made it senseless like a humming bee,
Because guys think you are in another verbal jamboree,
Did you to say it?
Your speech strikes like a lightning,
To soot the moral fiber of the public,
Just because of your ridiculous mimic,
And when the blames become too acidic,
You try to be apologetic,
Did you have to say it?
Your selfish lips spices up the saga
Tribalism inflicting the minds of the public,
Making the nation go gaga,
When will your tongue halt the infatuation?
Just because you were bewildered with the silly emotion,
Sincerely,
Did you have to say it?
Whenever your heart hardens on an aspect,
You get busy with that dialect,
Typing into Facebook and twitter,
Throwing all that verbal litter,
And when the nation becomes bitter
On you, we ask, Mr. 'Contempt transmitter,'
Did you have to say it?
Do you really have to say it?
Now that you are folded like a plait,
You really deserve the bait,
Because the men in wigs awaiting for you,
To have that legal sitting with you,
You begin holding your breath,
Your career awaiting its death,
Due to your verbal wreath,
That had it tight like a woman's sheath,
Too sorry because
You never had to say it.
I hear you got the letter,
That they want you abroad,
Because your lips lost the grip
And detached the silence...
Now it is bound to face the legal whip,
The men with snow hair had their say,
Even a silent fool never goes astray,
But because of your pride, you gave way
Now you have to pay
Because your mouth wanted the dirty play,
As you think of what awaits you,
The people still ask,
Did you have to say it?!

Raw Feelings

This feelings,
Feelings intoxicated with all of you,
Feelings that capture me and won’t leave,
Of what the mind can’t fully conceive,
But still puts the heart to believe,
That this feeling none can sieve…
The feeling that sees you and contracts my cheek
And puts me in a state
That turns felicity out of dictate,
And makes it like law in me.
…This raw feelings…

Take Your Time

When you blame him for the cause,
That put your feelings at a loss…
Take your time.

When you feel you made a mistake,
And put your love at stake…
Take your time.

When you feel you are all alone,
Regretting all that is gone,
Trying to reach her on the phone,
Even when you think it’s wrong,
Just keep on going till you are gone,
So, take your time,

Because you’ll be putting yourself in a dance,
The push and pull with no tunes of romance
But steps of a failed second chance, so
Take your time,
Take you time

Even when he lied,
He’ll be by your side,
Take your time

So when you feel there’s a chance to make it right
To get over all this emotional fight,
Take your time

Even when your mind entices the heart in plight,
To gather those passionate moments back to sight,
My soul still does not have the might,
To get you back inside
So take your time…
…take your time…

Autumn Felt

Autumn Felt

                       The memories dropped in him,
Filling every inch of his inner being,
Having nowhere to hold on to,
                      She drowned him in depression,
Sinking him in the deeper ends of the pain,
                            For he was too heavy,
Heavy to walk away from the regrets,
For his life was empty and full of agony
As autumn, the crisp falling air of mood
And the changing leaves of his emotions
Personified that he should gather himself up
And wait for the next season of mystery.
