Geraldine Price Poem
Nootka Sound where we’ll be found taking in some great scenery
From snow capped mountain peaks to white cap ocean waves and
fantastic greenery
Out on the ocean, it can get really rough, eagles soar and sea lions roar,
If you get close enough
You’ll have no cares, with the smell of the salt and the wind in your hair
You may find a bay where you can get oysters and clams, and if you’re lucky, rock
crab as well
So when you come back, you’ll have some great snacks smothered in garlic
butter, only your thighs will tell
Oysters on the barbe, are the best, just add lemon, soya and mustard at the very
least, you will have a feast
Whale watching is easy when you’re in Galiano Bay,
Orca’s come in with their calves and stay all day
Yes, it’s great to be found out in Nootka Sound, where life just drifts by on a
blistery day and you don’t have a care in the world
Gale force winds make you rock and waves keep you rolling
Just like being out on a fishing boat; trolling
Prawns are tough to find, ‘cause there’s never enough to go round
Too many people have found what we’re seeking
With so many traps and their pleasure crafts, they’re taking it over
They think they’re rolling in clover
Taking the boat and with your mate, you might get to do some cod jigging
But the cod doesn’t bite, the time isn’t right, so go back and take off you’re rigging
Soon it’s time to head home, the fun is all done, and it’s a long drive to Gold River
But we’ll come back again to play some other day, where we can start all over

Geraldine Price Poem
Souls lost, what remains? At what cost will love regain?
Feelings gone, but somehow there. No understanding. Is it fair?
Peace of mind, now within. Warmth and sanity slowly sinks in.
Right or wrong, changes come. Adjusting is easier for some.
Change is hard, no matter what. To pretend would hurt too much.
Saying and feeling are two different things. Being afraid of what it might bring.
More pain is a possibility, but you chance it for compatibility.
Working at it takes two. Am I ready for this? Are you?

Geraldine Price Poem
Who will cry for the boy who has fallen?
Who will mourn for the child that has died?
Who will smile for I who have tried?
When my brother has fallen, I was there
When a child has died, I have cried.
But will you smile for I who have tried?
Will He ever stop giving and taking?
Will He ever stop the torture?
Will He ever hear me? I who have tried?
I who has tried to keep peace.
I who has tried to keep love.
I, who have tried.

Geraldine Price Poem
Too intense, too fast
Back off from the past
Don't you think, don't you know
it's very easy to love you so...
Let's take it easy, take it slow,
And if it works, we'll know,
That we were right to stem the flow;
of feelings.
My emotions all in knots,
Who's to say if it's right, but us
Some people go through life never knowing
Love of any kind
Never showing any emotion,
How do you know, til you try?
Some day you will die, then what?
Such a pity, such a shame, you've lost again at the game.
