Oh Faithful Sea

The night felt so warm
with the moon lit bright.
I heard the sounds of water
with pebbles tumbling free.
Oh faithful sea
you soothe my soul.
You crash so hard
then you are calm.
Oh faithful sea
you captivate me.
The next day turned cool
as clouds filled the sky.
My toes wiggling in the sand
as I listened to your waves break.
Oh faithful sea
you soothe my soul.
You crash so hard
then you are calm.
Oh faithful sea
you captivate me.

Alive

A cell will divide.
Hearts in love tend to collide.
Yet love will not die.

Why

Working very hard
for a piece of green paper
worth really nothing.

Horny Toad On a Lonely Road

She came across a bend
On a lonely road.
She walked upon some little rocks
And found a horny toad.
She cried as her heart then broke
cause that little toad there died.
She couldn't understand,
confused she stood and sighed.
That little horny toad
never moved or moaned at all.
As she stood there and stared,
not believing in that there she saw.
She wondered why she stumbled
on that little horny toad.
Where that toad there then died,
here upon a lonely road.

In Him

A bird flies freely.
No worries, no fret, no wants.
God is marvelous.

When Will This Feeling Pass

The smell of your face
your scent.
Takes me to a place
let me vent.
The smile I once knew.
The smile that was you.
Is only gone for awhile.
When will this feeling pass?
I can't imagine life without you by my side.
But my faith is strong.
You were there all along.
When will this feeling pass?
You were always
a ring away.
Never too far
and you would always let me stay.
When times were bad
it was you I had.
And now it is gone for awhile.
When will this feeling pass?
I can't imagine life without you by my side.
But my faith is strong.
He was there all along.
When will this feeling pass?

I Will Always Love You

Before the end of this day
There are a few things I have to say
About a beautiful person laid here
This woman, to me, so dear.

You were so much to me
Always there, no matter when
A mother when mine was gone
Grandmother to my children.

Always a smile on your face
Laughter filled your home
You fed me when I was hungry
Your door always open to me.

I'll miss sitting at the table
Talking, sharing and learning
I feel a void in my heart now
But feel strength knowing where you are.

You are home with God now
And I praise His mercy he has for you
This earth has lost a special soul
I will always love you.

Thank you for all you have done
Thank you for showing me love
Thank you for caring for me
I'll never forget you.

Tears can not stop falling
I wish I could of have been there
But you are safe now
And I feel your spirit comforting me.

So many people loved you
So many people knew you
So many people will miss you
I'll always love you.

Love Is In the Air Tonight

Baby lets take that drive today.
Its the right time to get away.
Lets go to that same old spot
that we both know so well.

Its there. The sun
is always warm and nice.
And the river runs so cool,
always flowing thru our minds.

Love is in the air tonight.
This time, this time that we share.
Being here, being here without a care.
Love is in the air tonight.

When we're here we feel free.
So plentiful, just you and me.
We know its here for sure.
We'll make love all thru the night.

Love is in the air tonight.
Holding hands below the stars.
Below the stars, we begin to dance.
And we'll dance all thru the night.

Love is in the air tonight.
We'll sleep all day,
just to wake all night.
To wake and love and dance.

Under stars again,
love in the air to share.
Another night again,
always hand and hand.

Love is in the air tonight.

The Water's Edge

Millions of pebbles
flow through my toes as I walk
at the water's edge.

That Was You Mom

Mom that was you who first was there
Tiny and helpless that was me
You taught me to eat and made me laugh
You were there when I was sick.

Mom that was you who really cared
You wiped my eyes and washed my feet
The sadness and lessons I had to learn
In your way you helped me understand.

Mom that was you who had to leave
Taken away so suddenly
The lies from others I had to live
You remained alive inside my heart.

Mom that was you I truely missed
Those years I needed you so bad
Many mothers took your place
I never thought badly of you.

Mom that was you who really knew
The pain we lived inside
Putting the past behind us now
Life made sense once again.

Mom then I learned that was you
The woman I emulated passed down from heredity
I couldn't explain where it all came from
Being with you my questions answered.

Mom then you became so sick and weak
You would pass before my crying eyes
Your last breath sent you away
To Heaven, where you now reside.

Mom if I could tell you that it is you I miss today
Another Mothers Day without you here
Knowing in my heart you are finally free
A lifetime in my heart that's where you will always be.
