Essence of Barbi

Human portrait,
      -A work of art.
Asian beauty.

Personal truth,
      -A necessary filter.
Brute honesty.

Inspirational story,
      -A fulfilling journey.
Human strength.

*This poem is about a woman that I came across on the internet that has
overcome great obstacles. *

As Luck Would Have It

We are so lucky, you and I.
Our lives, we live-
We live in an evolution of sights,
Of sound,
Of feeling.

I wake up, rested, right as pie.
My life, I live-
I live to embrace the grace,
And wonder
So freeing!

Lumpia (Epulaeryu)

Sweet chili sauce for dipping

Maturity

A profound knowledge.
A revised delight.
In total independence.
In total control.
Taking in the language of wisdom.

Serenity

I have fallen into serenity.
 In the sweet complacent symphony
Of the humble mementos of life.

I have reached into my soul.
In the core of my heart identity
Into the attainment of unfeigned love.

The Boudoir

She was a pallor woman, says the mirror on the
Wall above her bureau: A tranquil woman too,
Says her diary which lay near her bed on the
Floor; and a deathless woman, says the crimson
Stain upon her blouse that lay draped over a
Chair in the corner of the room; but not one
For sunlight, say the black velvet cloak that
Lay neatly on her bed.

She lived alone, says the empty room next to
Hers; She was barren, says the long black
Dress that was worn; money was not a problem,
Says the antique furniture around the room; and
Her heart cold, says the silence that floats
Forever throughout the dusty bedchamber.

Something went wrong, says the lingering scent
Of death in the room. The faded painting -of
Darkness on a cold winter night- on her
Wall, say her life was an immoral one; untouched
Morsels left on delicate china that sits on the
End table, says she never felt hunger. And her
Victims? Never to be found or seen again-their
Bodies left lifeless on some unknown terrain.
Something went wrong, they say.

Mind Growth

In a sea of brown ground,
there she stood.
-unique-
Suddenly understanding the regularity of it.
Of how each must feel a separation from the world.

But here she was.
-woman-
Seemingly feeling the power of it.
Fully grasping the concept that knowledge is
                                  more so everywhere than here.

Accepting her position,
there she grew.
-conscience-
Tenderly acknowledging others around.
In which their feelings were translated
                                         by her own understanding.
Otherwise adjacent to the world.

And here they became.
-companions-
Purely and with complete honesty.
The complete knowledge of
                                               self, others, tribulation, and completion.

My Beloved

Moments to behold -a twinkle of favor-
An entitative fusion -Of a love so divine-
I have fallen;
Fallen into immense rapture.
In this interminable moment of solace.
