When I first saw you
I never expected we would get this far
When we first did hangout
I never expected you to enjoy being with me
When we first went out to eat
I'd never expected you to take me to my favorite place
When I first came to your family home
I never expected to touch your hand nor
I never expected to of been kissed by you under the stars
When we went to the top of the world
I never expected I would want to cuddle you
When you first stayed over I didn't expect anything....
When we became a couple
I never expected that I would ever fall for someone...

Daddy said you love me
Its clear as day
He said it the second day you came
Back from being away...
I fell for you at the first look of you
You took a second look
And I blew you away...
We like each other
But didn't stay together
Chased others
But come running back...
You stayed in my mind all these years
Everyday I saw you
Everyday I still loved you....
Your all I need
Your all I want
Perfect or a mess
Still you make me happy and blessed.

I see you with her
I know we are one
Though you promised god we are two
Never have i thought you would do what you did
And yes ive gotten time to heal
I still can not stand her
She is insecure
And your eyes say your all lies
Your voice is harsh towards me
And i know i didnt do anything
Sometimes i miss you and love you
Sometimes i dont even care about you
She wants to be best friend's
And i can not let myself
Only because of how i feel towards you
She only want to be like me as from what others say
So i do my best to be kind
I do my best to be me
And ill do my best to keep my feeling just to me.

Your crying,
While im frustrated,
Its not you that I'm mad at,
Its not the movie I'm mad at..
Honestly its nothing,
But its something to work me up.
Its been a long day,
Work wasn't great,
My boss isn't the brightest,
Money seems never enough,
Your dad walked out..
That's something I'll tell you in the future...
I'm sorry baby don't cry,
I didn't mean to get mad,
I pay for things and then have nothing left,
I have a job but no energy to do it,
I miss being with you all day everyday,
My schooling isn't fast enough,
Mommy's car is making me worry,
I need a new job, car and a new place for us...oh many struggles that you don't know,
I smile because I don't want you see me broken,
I love you more so you don't see my loneliness,
I stay calm so you don't know my stress...
I didn't mean for you to see my breaking point,
I didn't mean for you to see my tears,
I didn't mean for you to see how weak I can get...
Baby girl I love you more then anything,
I promise one day all our dreams will come true.

Im not your normal girl
I so ain't perfect
I can be complicated
And here let me tell you....
I might cuddle here or there
I even might just not want to be touched
Read a book while you watch TV,
May or may not want to go somewhere...
I'm a single mom
So I might forget to text you
Until I get a moment to myself
My daughter so comes first....
I can come up with sexy or sweet things
Pour my heart out or keep it still
I can give you my heart..
If my heart allowed me...
I'm very indecisive
But carefree too.
I can even be the sweetest and crazy,
I can be so evil and mean unlike any other
I am divorced and troubled family...
So like I said I ain't perfect...
I grew up army brat
And in a small town...
One day I'll get remarried...
Maybe...
Or maybe I'm the problem....
Either way I am me....its just who I am.

Castle walls
Burning flames
Nothing will be the same
Only you played the game
While I drank your champagne.
Titter tatter of each stone
My life has gotten better since you are gone
Endless worries
Timeless waits
Never again will you be my mistake...
Reaching stars
Catching lightin bugs
Feeling like I'm not enough
Waiting for nights to end
Only to be rescued by a man
I thought I could only dream of....
Whispering winds
Calming seas
Is how the world brought you to me
Singing birds
Whistling trees
Time with you is limited
Day an night I'll never know
I'll spend all the time I got

When I threw in the towel to please you,
My sister stood up for me,
Opened your eyes
And then you apologized...
Now you tried but I can't
You loved but I can't
You will throw in the towel soon,
For you never were known to try to long...
And now the game is over...
Your an abuser...
And I was raised to win
...
And I have.
I didn't take my life
And yes you damaged me
But I still got up

Freedom never cries
Life always dies
Birth becomes alive
Strong becomes stronger
Weak becomes strong
Because Freedom never cries.
Children plays while parents seek
Words leak and hurts me
Cuts you and kills them
Stand strong till its gone
They hold'em back
Because Freedom never cries.
You watch the brave from afar
You say good night
Cause its the end of the fight
Unto the flash of light
Because Freedom never cries.
They came and got'em
Some were burned some were saved..
Some didn't make it home all the way
Because Freedom never cries.
The trumpets blare
The sun aflare
Unto thee we share
The loved ones we lost and cared

I tower over my hero
My heart pierced like an arrow
Song of death plays aloud
I pray to God to help their families
Bless them to the end

They knew it was right just not the date...
