Kelvin Mc Laughlin Poem
Here I sit alone,
So far away from my home,
City is alive.

Kelvin Mc Laughlin Poem
THE MIRACLE OF LIFE.
Many men altercated and argued,
Day and night did they dismay,
How could one ever argue,
The miracle of life, the light of day.
I should not ever question,
None should ever question I,
For we are one in the same,
Attempting to live before we die.
Our god is one in all,
The natural mystic ever present,
From the buzz of the bees,
The tide of the seas,
To the feathers of the pheasant.
The sentience of all things,
Should not be underestimated,
For one might say of man,
Intelligence presumed, could be debated.
The beautiful bees are ever busy,
But have the gift of sting,
The birds rejoice in the morning,
For their ability to sing,
One could also enquire,
"But they have the gift of flight?",
Man has many blessings,
Few can compare to our foresight.
What is man without a fish?,
A fish without a sea,
A house without a home,
A cup without the tea.
We are all in one,
All in one are we.
We must regain respect,
For the leaf of every tree.
The fire deep inside,
The spirit of every life,
Has beauty beyond comprehension,
What good can come of strife?
The bird flies for food,
Pollen for the buzzing bee,
What point in having foresight,
If the foresight cannot see?

I see her sometimes,
Hair comforting as autumn,
Eyes and smile delight.

My bed has seen all,
Failures and success-fullness,
I wait for Zion.

*Through the fog*
Tide in a bottle
the sun of night gives me light
smoke and loneliness

Clock ticks silently,
Morning turning to night time,
Skin starts to sag.

Kelvin Mc Laughlin Poem
On the edge of gartan lake a forest path once lead, to a clearing down amongst the trees with only stars up over head.
There I slept and fished by night,
The little fly cast in twilight.
The parr I caught, released was he, now strong I hope, that it may be.
A walking trail they did decide, put by the lake, along the side.
The beauty once, wild and free, could be found down amongst the trees.
The trees now torn, a path replaced, human kind, be disgraced.
For who are you, to lay down claim, to land belonged to all the same.
The chirping now, far and thin, from the paradise, it had once been.
The sorrow deep, for what was lost, do they even see what the cost?
Distracted, busy, a busy bee. Too busy to think, too busy to see.
One day I pray the trees reclaim, the land now stolen for the lane.
The little church, upon the hill, as I approach, no longer thrill.
The little path, once walked alone, paradise over, paved by stone.

Kelvin Mc Laughlin Poem
D eep inside my head I loom,
E ach day I feel a sense of doom.
P eace I cannot seem to find,
R each as I might through out my mind.
E ach day a herculean task,
S ome days I can't put on the mask.
S eemingly fine, "I'm good and well"
I say with a smile ,as I encounter hell.
O ne day I know this too shall pass,
N ot long until its over, at last.

Kelvin Mc Laughlin Poem
A Lingering Moment Of Peace.
Come lighten up, the day is near,
No point now for anticipation and fear.
The deeds are done, the bed is made,
No point in having the inevitable delayed.
Feel the life in every breath,
The only thing guaranteed in life is death.
Taste and touch, every sweet sensation,
The deity will soon give revelation.
For a lingering moment of peace should you strive,
Oh ,what a gift, to be alive.
