Cement Walls

He looked at me.
I saw him through the slats.
His eyes brighter than the moon,
Smile as pink as a rose.
From that moment I knew.

You Are Insane My Love

I am not unknown.
I flow through you, shutting you down.
Wrapping around you like a thick cloak,
your thoughts fall through my drain.
You cannot escape me.
Part of me will always be there.

Lockup

I never see the stars anymore.
Whenever I was losing my mind,
I'd stare out my window,
the one I now lack.
But now all there is,
are the lights on the monitor,
and the beat of my heart.

In the Shadows

You don't believe me,
when I say I can hear them.
I can see them,
I can feel them.
They make me do things,
going along with my delusions.
It's not my fault,
it's theirs.

They'Ll Take You Away

Don't you just love that?
The way I run through you,
the way I destroy you
as you swing that blade?
Every little slash is..

a memory.

A memory yet to be forgotten,
with the adrenalin.
Flushed away with the desire,
the sorrow.
Yet your devious mind enjoys it.
Don't you just love it?
I can't help you.
No one can.
You can't even help yourself,
because you can't escape the grasp of fate.
Don't you just love that, my child?

At Noon

It happens every day at noon.
We gather in that stone cold room.
That rubbish song plays on repeat,
and the headshrinkers leave us soup to eat.
It all seems so calm,
until someone turns off the song.
Everyone who was there that day
watches the guards carry them away.

Manipulation

They watched me.
They watched me as I burned.
Staring into my eyes as the flames took over.
Little did they know
this is what I was hoping for.
To be here when you weren't,
to linger in the ashes,
to possess your thoughts.

You think you can get rid of me?
You've only made it worse darling.
I will be forever trapped here,
in your veins.
Waiting to be awoken.
I cannot leave.

Disguise

You think you're funny.
But throughout my stay here,
I've noticed.
That you're not who you say you are.
Behind that smock,
those latex gloves
and that plastered smile.

I can see.
I can see there's a void going through you.
And I can feel,
that being on the other side of the gun
is not so strange to you.

Across the Way

They lied me back in bed,
cuffing me down.
They said it was all a dream,
a hallucination.
But I saw him.
I saw him standing at the door,
tall and dark.
He talked to me, he was real.
He loves me,
he's real.

He Knows

It isn't safe
when left alone.
Thoughts consuming you, like a drone.
It's hard when he stares,
taking the air out of you.
Shriveled in a corner
darkness cloaked over,
scraping at the shell
it crawls inside,
possessing the heart
and all your time.

Never to rise once fallen
for the key has been thrown.
Never to be forgotten,
never alone.

He'll show you a path,
a light once unknown.
Yet you do not know,
this place is your home.
