Water Dance

In the watery bed I float along
Soothing thoughts swirl aimlessly in my head
Blue green melting into a lovely song
Whispering trickles of words to be said

Dancing so beautifully on the toe
Ballerinas drown on their timely own
Spinning in circles big little and low
Wonderful and flowing let it be known

Small asters and rose petals float about
The aquatic surface so pure and smooth
Ripples and waves forcing me in and out
The differences in motion break and move

Watery eyes gazing into the sun
My journey of wet life has just begun

Working Hands

Simply working hands
Note the roughness of the skin
Yearning to caress

Spring Has Sprung

Spring mornings are cool bright and wonderous
Birds loudly chirping as they fly and tweet
Flowers blooming surrounding all of us
Fresh raindrops drenching the earth at our feet

Summer is coming cool weather we'll long
Yard work and spring cleaning, the swirling dust
School is out for break the sparrows sing songs
Pollen floating in the air as is lust

Spiders seem to come alive spinning grooves
Lizards running along the walls outside
Cats give a chase to everything that moves
Picnics at the park baseball home run slide

Kick back and relax go to the beaches
Read an old fave Dr. Seuss The Sneetches

There Is a Fine Line Between Love and Hate

I love your smile I love your witty charm
I'll never forget when you broke my arm
I adore your walk and the way you talk
You always said I'd be the one you stalk

I cherish your humor and you dance well
Since I've met you life's been a living hell
I love your eyes and your great sense of style
The things you tell me are so very vile

"He's no good for you" I heard from a friend
I keep praying for the abuse to end
When we started dating it was so grand
Why did you ever have to raise your hand?

I wish I didn't feel you're my soul mate
There is a fine line between love and hate
