Forever

In the dark
I come alive
Tonight
You guide my way
Into the light

A touch
A sigh
Close as we are
Our lips
Collide

Slowly you caress
Skin on fire
Burning inside
Filled with desire

Secrets inside me
Released by your touch
Together we are
Forever

Overwhelmed

Dark hooded eyes
Sunglasses hiding your stare
Piercing thru the dark
I try to catch my breath

My hand on your heart
Feels the steady beat
While my heart races
My legs grow weak

You overwhelm
I'm overcome
You captured my mind
I turn to run

Bliss

Woke up this morning with you next to me
Last nights memories no longer a dream
Two people together as different can be
Sharing the warmth to the highest degree

Tangled sheets
Deep kiss
Soft lips
Pure bliss

I look at your face so calm in the light
So different than what you showed me last night
My heart aches, thoughts fill my head
Remembering all the words we each misread

Strong arms
Gentle touch
Warm bed
So much

I lay next to you listen to you breathe
Wrap myself around you no space in-between
You open your eyes and pull me even closer
The look in your eyes shatters my composure

All entwined
Deep kiss
Soft lips
Pure bliss

I Cry At Night

I cry at night

The sadness is overwhelming
Sometimes
A feeling of what may of been

It wraps itself around me
Not comforting

I try to look deep inside
But the memories are gone
Only the feelings remain

I started down this path
Hoping to find family
Instead heartache

Too late too long

The Flame

THE FLAME

It's a dangerous game to play
I struggle each and every day
I tiptoe around
I have questions abound
Too afraid to ask
My feelings would be unmasked

So I will stay quiet
And keep my thoughts private
No longer a game
But a red burning flame

The flame will extinguish
Feelings will diminish
The memory will fade
 But will always remain
