Through These Eyes of Mine

When you look into my eyes, what do you see?
Is it a reflection of you, or maybe of me?
Do you see a touch of the things I hold dear?
Can you tell it is you, I want to be near?
There are so many things I want to say
I long for the chance every day
To show how you make my world shine
These things I say, through these eyes of mine..

What I Would Do

I would wake up and kiss your lips each and every day
I would whisper in your ear, only things I could say
I would encourage you to go on, when things don't go your way
I would show you the good, no matter what they say
I would hold your head close to my breast
Especially when life's struggles put you to the test
I would find a way to show you the best
I would put only YOU above all of the rest
I would dance in the street, if you think I should
I would give you the world, if only I could
To show that I love you, and show you life's good
These things I'd do, if only you would..
