He Will Be Your Saving Grace

This is a parody I wrote to the song of "Wrecking Ball" I believe this is inspirational, and could draw someone closer to God. This poem, or song, tells a little story, coming from my life, that I was struggling, and found my rest in God. I hope you do to. :)

Sometimes
Life throws
A wrench
Into your side,
Trin' knock you down.

You scream
And cry
Into the night,
But no one
Is ever around.

Call upon His name,
He will save the day,
He has always loved you.

Don't you live a lie,
Running from His side,
He will always love you.

And He will be your saving grace,
He died for you on the cross that day,
Saving you from what you deserved.
So you could be with Him,
Eternally.
Be with Him,
Eternally.

You fight,
And yell,
With all
Your friends,
And now
You're tumbling down.

You lost
The fight,
All through
The night
You pray,
You're asking Him 'why?'

Call upon His name,
He will save the day,
He has always loved you.

Don't you live a lie,
Running from His side,
He will always love you.

And He will be your saving grace,
He died for you on the cross that day,
Saving you from what you deserved.
So you could be with Him,
Eternally.

And He will be your saving grace,
Saving you from all you sin and shame,
Instead of letting you fall so hard,
He has given you a second chance,
To be with Him,
Eternally.

Keep you eyes trained on Him,
Don't you ever look away.
Make sure that you read and pray,
Draw you attention to His eyes.

Keep you eyes trained on Him,
Don't you ever look away.
Make sure that you read and pray.

Call upon His name,
He will save the day,
He has always loved you.

And He will be your saving grace,
He died for you on the cross that day,
Saving you from what you deserved.
So you could be with Him,
Eternally.

And He will be your saving grace,
Saving you from all you sin and shame,
Instead of letting you fall so hard,
He has given you a second chance,
To be with Him,
Eternally.
To be with Him,
Eternally.

I See Him There

I see him there,
The one I love.

I see him there,
With a baseball glove.

His mind is just like my dad's,
Making it like mine.

He's good at math,
And so am I.

We both like science,
Another similarity.

We love music,
To listen and to make.

We're always looking
To have fun.

Sometimes even
Jumping the gun.

Keeping busy
Is a must

Since we're both crazy,
Maybe even nuts.

He likes the things
That I like too.

But it's all too good
To be true.

It cannot work,
Me and you.

And though I think I love him so,
He can't be mine to keep.

For my God is not his,
And that's a big enough barrier for me.

Therefore,
No matter how I feel.

This love I love
Can't be for you.
