Adventure of the Soul

When I tell I know u don't believe me
You walk away and you become confused
When I tell you it's nothing but pain you don't believe me
You leave and you get hurt
But I know deep down that you must learn on your own everyone is not for you
So when you reach the valley of tears you may come back and lay with me
Tell me all about your experience
Then maybe just maybe you'll learn how much I truly love you

Dreams

He looks at me as if I'm the only thing he sees'
the smile on his face looks as though it were made just for me'
the tone of his voice and the sound of his laugh almost like rich chocolate overflowing pulls at the strings in my heart carefully woven around a picture of his face'
my mind taking snapshots of every expression as if to play them at a later date' my soul being drawn in with every word as if it were a matter of life and death then it all disappears and reality comes crashing down only to remember that's what you are to me an oh so sweet dream a figment of imagination if only you were real life would be worth living.

I See You

I see you
I see the frown in your smile
I see the tears in your laugh
I see a cage in your eyes
I see the wall around your heart
I see the storm behind your sun
I see the you behind you

Look At Me

I know you see me standing here
You looked me in the eyes
I wish you could see the real me
The one trapped inside

The girl with no voice and no will of her own
Will she be here forever with no light of day
Will she be stuck in this horrid place without letting it be known

Her desire to be set free to see the world through her own eyes
To experience life the lows and the highs
To finally be one with herself
To not be ashamed to speak her mind
To live her life the way she wants with no restraint

If only someone could see through those soulless eyes to peer deeper and look on the inside

Glances

Skin as white as pure untouched snow'
Fall into the dark abyss'
emotions never wavering resolved never falter' eyes peering through you as if reading your very soul'
Crys as if knowing all your pain'
seeing through your heart breaking down your walls. Your life being read in a single glance.
