Dark Dawn

Light is awaking,

New dawn is breaking,

A breathtaking morning,

Now faces scream warning!
Spreading lava!
Getting faster!
Eruption!
Destruction!
Shaking!
Taking!
Dark.

In Jesus Alone

This world cannot offer the level of Love,
or the Joy found in Jesus alone,
From the oceans below to the mountains above,
I no longer consider this 'Home'.

Shallow pleasures of Sin, for which I were a slave,
Began many wars of the past,
They Remain beside footprints approaching the grave,
The Door to the Joy which will last.

If Only Words Could Express

If only words could express
The depths of God's love
In sending His Son
From Heaven above
How He came to give life
& set sinners free
Then died to take death
& let the blind see.

If only words could express
The price that He paid
For those who have failed Him
& often betrayed
How He rescues the fallen
& requires no return
For salvation we each are
Unable to earn.

If only words could express
The riches in Christ
The freedom, redemption
& limitless life
This is Neither for hope
Nor a Goal to achieve
Not deserved or rewarded
...A Gift to receive.

There Once Was a Word

There once was a word,
At least once I heard,
In Unity,
Letter by Letter.

It was kept as a gift,
By the swift to accept,
Yet Left in a box,
Altogether.

Then O and P,
and P-O-R-T,
Left "UNITY"
...Forsaken.

Thus this word was a Token,
Which left the box empty as it,
For it,
Wasn't Taken.

Unlocked

I was lost but couldn't find the way.
The Way found me.

I believed lies but couldn't change the truth.
The Truth changed me.

My works could never purchase life.
The Life purchased me.

The chains He broke, it was the proof that Jesus is the Key.

Too blind to see the bars of sin, 'til Jesus let me see,
Now Fear is gone & Death has lost it's sting, since Jesus set me free.

Here and Now

'You' have the 'Gift',
Needing nothing more than the 'Present',
Which solves the "Who", "What", "When" !

So snatch the 'W' from "Where",
For we're not omnipresent...
Then switch How's 'H' for an 'N'.
