To the Girl Who Doesn'T Love Me

To The Girl Who Doesn't Love Me (by: Josner Saintil)
     Forget you!
You think I'm not good enough
You think i ain't worth it.
    Since you rejected my love,
    You got me feeling worthless...
     ALMOST!

So you went ahead dealing with the better guys
On to the next one it's no surprise
You switch teams like Lebron James
    But this ain't Cleveland style.

Never wanting to be with the lonely weird kid,
And to be clear, I'm not alone
   And I accept this
   Life that I'm livin'
And my heart is my home!

I'll be the best you never had,
   Livin' on Malibu beaches
You'll be working for that paper,
I'll be where it all is.

   And when i recollect,
   I see that you're just a mess,
And yes i'll be the greatest,
You'll be filled with your regrets!

   SO R.I.P...
   MY RESPECTS
   TO THE DEAD.

Money Isn'T Everything -By Josner Saintil

Money isn't everything (BY Josner Saintil)
He has a lot of money...
But you seldom see a smile on his face.
And, yes, he has the good life
Yet all he speaks of his hate, death, and disgrace.

Oh, Yes, he is the richest man alive!
But what happens when all that weed causes him to die?
What happens when his spirit is falling, but you think he thrives?
What if he silently wishes, that he was not alive?

Did you ever think that riches came without a price?
Do you really think it comes on a silver platter,
Or that it is really suffice?
Or do you think that the rich man's smile,
Is not truly hiding his soulful cries.

Don't you know why the garbage man smiles?
Don't you understand why the cashier doesn't worry much,
Or why the teacher doesn't tell these soulful lies?
Or why the old man ceases to cry?

It is because they see life's train
A broken voyage filled with pain.
Roughly made railroads through a jungle deep,
You may get lost or fall asleep.

But on that train, they never slept.
Some tears fell down, but not 'cause they wept.
They almost got lost but found their way,
From a lion's hold to a sunny day.

No... Money isn't everything
'Cause it doesn't give true love, or joy, or satisfy.
Money's just green paper,
You can wet it or lose it
Yet true love is what you can hold forever.
When you find it, it is always nigh.

True Identity

True Identity (By:Josner Saintil)
There are girls who go about
With short skirts and unauthentic hair
To get them, many men would fight and shout,
Yet they are not regal or fair.
They do what they see others do
They dress sinfully or to attract attention,
Following the crowd absentmindedly,
Just makes a mindless girl with no identity.

There are boys who get girls easily
Pants always below their waists
Not really knowing what Love is
Only lust for a pretty face.
Tattoos and gold teeth
Trouble, weed, and going to jail foolishly.
But a grown man with no future, Just makes a hoodlom with no identity.

Many let the world and music change them.
Thinking that a club
Is more important than education.
Trying to live like rap stars
All mindless fools
'Cause not knowing what you stand for clearly,
Just makes an uncritical thinker with no identity.

Those who stand out from the rest,
With great thought for tomorrow,
Those who see the world for more than it is,
Knowing that this is a world of sorrow,
Where dog eat dog in any way,
But still work and dream for a better day.
Those who know who they are and going; their destiny,
Are those with TRUE IDENTITY!

In This Very Moment

In This Very Moment/Your Eyes(by Josner Saintil)
In this very moment... I look into your eyes
'Cause it's true you astound me
Your beauty takes my breath away.
And it's not because of the clothes you wear
       Or the things you say,
But the stories your eyes tell me.

In your eyes, I see something more
       Than appearance or fatal attraction.
I see beyond your simple ways.
I see compassion, love, and hope.
       Hilarious...but I mean the words I say.

There is something special about you,
        Yet it's hidden deep inside.
       Your heart is slowly growing,
A deep ocean bearing the tide.

       No, I'm not much
Barely a mouthful you would say
I don't dress or look like the cute guy
My head is always in a book
       And sometimes I pray.

But know if you let me,
I would love you more than any man
       Not just 'cause you're fine
       But because with you...
I'll have the world in my hands.

My World

My World-(Rap Poem by Josner Saintil)
I live in a world where Democrats are not democratic
I live in a world full of drugs...and crack addicts.
I live in a world where Republicans want to do nothing or pass unfair laws
Often using some restrictions to slow something down...or using some type of ''clause.''

I live in a world with systematic monopolies
Everyone only cares about getting money from the economy.
I'm from a place where everybody cares only about themselves
Nobody gives a damn about anybody else!

I live in a world where everyday we shed tears
Still no one hears or dares to calm these fears.
I live in a world that needs a God.
Still, I still don't see Him doing His job!

I live in a world where everyone's just fed up.
But they don't think... 'cause givin’ up is just not enough.
I wonder if Martin Luther or Lincoln would look down,
Would they be disgusted at seeing all this messed up stuff?!

I used to live in a world where everyone was closer though,
But now they deporting children and mothers like it's just for show
Trying to put fear into these strong minds...but likewise,
We'll remain strong forever more.

I was born there legally but it wasn't right.
Since... my father was Haitian right?
They won't even let some Cubans pass,
Or people from places that need saving now, and from the past.

I was from that place where unfair laws were made
Now I'm here and everything's the same.
No I'm not against the world, I just don't like its ways...
But, somehow, I still keep dreaming of better days.

Days when we all can be together and truly free.
When the world's not a hidden cave or a monopoly.
Where all Earth's children can come hand in hand together and finally say,
"Thank you God for these blessed days!"

I Used To Love a Girl

I used to love a girl-(by Josner Saintil)
I used to love a girl
Just because she had a nice face.
She had perfect hair,
Nice shape,
And a nice waist.

I used to love a girl
Just because she had everything.
But everything's not everything...
'Cause everything's what joy brings.

True joy is,
Being able to breathe every morning
To go to sleep knowin',
That people may throw rocks at you,
But somehow you're still standing.

It's to know who you are in life
And exactly where you've been...
Because if you don't love yourself,
Then it doesn't matter how life seems,
'Cause you'll die in just a dream.

I used to love a girl..
And love her as I thought.
And started doin' things
That I ought not.
But I did.

I told her that I love her,
So she wouldn't walk away.
Took it slow when she told me,
We went at a fast pace.

I used to love a girl,
Not because of who she was,
But what she was.
Forgive me God,
'Cause I know...
That it was wrong enough.

A Happy and Thankful Thanksgiving

A "happy and thankful" Thanksgiving(By Josner Saintil)
I am thankful for the life I live,
A desolate world,
Filled with sadness and loneliness
With nothing good to give.
Making me wish I were dead.

I am very thankful for my family
Which is a union torn apart
For trivial reasons and rumors,
Aunts and uncles always thinking,
That there is something wrong inside of me.
ONE reason being my "dad's" blasphemy

I am thankful for my church,
A congregation swarming with lies.
A people who preach unity,
Yet fight perpetually with one another.
Yet I thought we were brothers and sisters?

I am thankful for those who hate me,
Those who try to spread rumors about me,
'Cause those who believe them
Are no better than these liars
That are before me.

I am thankful for teachers and school
A place where I learn,
Yet there...
I am just a fool,
Or a useless tool.

I lastly am thankful for God almighty
Lord If you're alive I need you
'Cause it seems like I'll never find you
And like you'll never find me...
Never...So "Happy Thanksgiving!"

My Enemies

To My enemies (By Josner Saintil)
Do you hate me because I hate ignorance,
And injustice?
Or is it because you hear rumors,
Or because I got mad at you once
For your stupidity and close-mindedness?

Are you my enemy because you don't like
 me now at all?
So though you're a devil
You'll lie and act nice,
Just to see me fall?

Do you despise me 'cause of something
I supposedly did or said,
Or because my life is a mess
And I try to let go of stress
So I don't dread?

Do you think I care of you're hatefulness to me?
Or do you think your rumors will hurt me
'Cause like you, you think I'm weak,
Or do you wish to totally erase my identity,
Like evil thinks it can do to me?

I am stronger than the average man.
I've climbed mountains you would never climb,
With a smile.
I am more than life's conqueror,
Because I'm always free.

I am your ruler
Since you're always trying to toy with my emotions.
It never phases me so you get angry.
I am a wizard
Will is my wand and my magic potion.
To win life's race... is my only devotion.

My Dream

My Dream(By Josner Saintil)
  You may see some flaws
Yet all I see is perfection.
From your head to your toes,
You are nothing less than a blessing.

  Your beauty arouses me,
  Making me wild
  You may think I'm insane,
But your love takes me miles.

  Every word you whisper
Sounds like sweet music to my ear.
We may be a million miles away,
But in my heart you're always near.

  You are my dream
  The only one I desire
Yes it's crazy, but I love you
My heart burns for you like a blazing fire.

Letter To America

TO AMERICA (From J- Saintil/Anonymous-the fourteen year old.)
Dear Mr. President
I am not a resident
I am not a citizen,
But my love for America is evident.

Dear Congress women and men,
Please don't take offense,
If I happen to not be legal
Yet try to unite nations under my pen.

Dear Supreme Court,
Don't take it too hard,
If I try to be successful
Without supposedly respecting a law.

Dear Sweet America
My bright and morning stars,
If you ever fade away
I'll remind you that hope is not far.

Dear esteemed Democrats and Republicans alike,
Can we work together,
Compromise, and not fight?
For with unity, there is always might.
