A Gangster Love

I was a thug in the streets,
Wasn’t lookin for love.
Then there you came
Like an angel from above.
You changed my way of thinking;
Baby, you touched my soul.
This lonely heart has been made whole.
To the ends of the earth I’d go for you.
I prayed to God so long to send me an Angel,
Someone that would love me and I could make
my KING.
And he sent me you.

Struggles

Why does this way of life
Create so much struggles and pain.
When did this darkness begin,
That Is caught within.

Some struggles are stronger then
others....
People just don't get it or understand...
With no way to break away

Fighting with addiction
Fighting with identity
Fighting with demons that have your mind all messed up.
Fighting envy
Fighting with insecurities
Fighting Suicidal Thoughts
Fighting with anxiety, stress, and depression
Prison
Jail
Drugs
Human trafficking
Drug trafficking
Abuse: mentality, verbally, or physically
Trust issues: lies and betrayals
Relationships: Marriage, boyfriends, girlfriends, family and divorce

Trying to find a place to hide
Faking to be okay when really you are dying inside
Trying to escape the pain but it goes
On and on, around and around like a rollercoaster ride.
The turmoil of sorrow and hurt goes on.
Unable to run away,
One is consumed with all this pain and hate.

Then from deep within all that tormented cries
A voice you never heard before:

'God please help me'
I can not do this no longer
I need you more now then ever before..

That was the end of the that struggle ride.
The descent of darkness has finally being broken,
Revealing, that God heard all those many cries.

Remembering

She lays her head down and this pain
hits her hard....
She can not take the pain any longer so
she starts to yell out but no one can hear
her yells because it's all in her head.

Dear mother,
I'm sorry, I wasn't good enough for
you to love.

Dear father,
Forgive me cause in your eyes,
It just seem like I never added up to
what you wanted in a daughter.
In my heart I know I failed you
so you left me here alone to face
this world without you....

Dear brothers,
Don't hate me for being the cold & soulless
sister I was during all the gang fights. For we all know
it was beyond anyone's control.

Dear sister,
Don't blame me for not knowing you.
I only did what I thought was truly right
And that was kicking ass first and asking
questions last.

It's a long and lonely road and she knows
she is walking it alone.
If she could hold back the rain
Would it numb all her pain
'Cause she is starting to remember everything.
If she could forget would she even have any regrets

She feels like running away but she is so far lost in
the darkness that she can't fine her way out.
She knows that she can never change the past
That it's all burned into the ground.
If she could start all over again would that change
how her story would end......

Those Eyes

Those eyes!
Sparkling, lavishing,
Enchanting and deep!
Lot's of untold secret they keep!

Those eyes!
If they could they would set the
sky on fire and call out all liars,

Those eyes !
Very passion and mysterious
Interestingly humble and kind
You couldn't take them off your mind
even if you wanted too!

Those eyes!
The centre of attention
and a mist of attraction
Full of love and affection!

Those eyes!
Could swallow the stars
Full of compassion and romance
They could blow you away with just
one blink like a gust of wind.

Those eyes!
Adorable, sweet and fine
You can help but wonder what they truly are
hiding.
