Susan Wilson Poem
A mother's love you miss so much
A father's hand, can't feel the touch
A loss so great, can't stand to feel
A family gone, was it ever real
A baby's skin, no longer to hold
An open heart, now so cold
Those beautiful eyes, no longer to see
That ominous love, no more for me
That man's love can't be true
His loving words, no more I love you
His anger erupts, oh how it burns
Those demonic eyes, oh how he turned
The angels above call my name
Rising above this world, nothings the same
My body and soul disconnect
As the rope tightens around my neck

Susan Wilson Poem
There's a little girl inside me who wants to be out
I can hear her scream, I can hear her shout
I know to you this may sound absurd
But the little girl desperately wants to be heard
He silenced her so many years ago
Now she wants everyone to know
To know how he came into her room at night
To know she was so little she didn't know how to fight
She told about him once before
But there were issues she chose to ignore
There were other things she didn't reveal
If she didn't talk about it, it wasn't real
But now she is ready to reveal
She needs you to know how he made her feel
She needs you to know how he sinned
And changed her life with his perversion
She wants to be able to live the life he stole
She wants to be able to just feel whole
She wants to be normal like everybody else
She wants to be able to love herself

Susan Wilson Poem
She never mentions the word that means so much to her heart
For evertime she does, she is torn apart
She won't let him see what is burning in her soul
She can't bear to watch him go
When he looks her way, she closes her eyes
So she can't see all the deceptions and lies
She aches everyday to feel his touch
He doesn't realize he hurts her so much
She can't let him hold her in his arms
She knows all he can bring her is harm
She won't let him make her feel so right
When she knows it all has to end at the end of the night
When she's around him there's so much she has to hide
For she can't let him see the love she has growing inside

Susan Wilson Poem
We have suffered a tragedy
Our world is torn apart
Sadness is in our eyes
Fear is in our hearts
We have lost so much at their hands
They took so many lives
So many have lost loved ones
Brothers, sisters, husbands, and wives
My heart goes out to all who have lost
I shed tears for those who have died
I reach out for the orphaned children
I thank GOD for those who made it out alive
We have to pray for our nation
We have to help each other along
We cannot let them win
We have to be strong
To all who have lost on September 11, 2001

Susan Wilson Poem
She stood at the window
Waiting for the car to pull into the drive
She prayed her suspicions weren't true
She wished he wasn't alive
He puts her through this night after night
He doesn't see these tears she cries
He doesn't see the pain she feels
He can't see how he hurts her with these lies
She tries with all her strength to make it work
She wants him to be by her side
She can't keep playing this role
But she can't bear to say goodbye
She heard the car and saw the lights
She was standing at the door
She saw it all in his eyes
She said, " I'm sorry. I just can't do this anymore."

Susan Wilson Poem
She ducked her head as she crossed the threshhold
She pushed through the crowd in the bitter cold
For what she was about to do she wasn't proud
The people with the signs were yelling, they were so loud
She went up to the desk to check in
She looked around desperate for a friend
This wasn't something she should be doing on her own
but she stood there realizing she was completely alone
She put on the robe as a tear fell from her eye
She laid where the doctor told her to lie
She closed her eyes as the needle went in
She prayed, " Lord, forgive me for my sin"
She woke up to bright lights and a paper gown
unconsciously, she looked down
She looked where her baby used to be
She had never felt so empty

Susan Wilson Poem
I swim int he black abyss
I can not see the shore
I can't feel my heart
My feelings are not mine anymore
Like a river, the teardrops flow
I am conquered by the black
It engulfs my soul
Once you've reached this point, there's no going back
Happiness is worlds away
My life is a blend of agony and pain
Misery fills all my days
When will I be me again

Susan Wilson Poem
The rain pours down into my heart
My soul is silently ripped apart
I know I'm losing this fight
The darkness has taken your light
You're fading fast, I see that now
You've used the time that you're allowed
You've lost it all, you're much too weak
You cannot move, you cannot speak
So I take your hand and hold you close
You go still and turn white as a ghost
I cover you as I silently cry
I kiss your lips and I say goodbye

Susan Wilson Poem
The man at the store
The man in my bed
The man who has taken control of my head
The man in this room
The man in that chair
Oh, how I want him gone
Oh, how I want him near
He kisses my lips
He holds my hand
He tries, but will never understand
He says forever
He says goodbye
All he says is one big lie
The man on my mind
The man in my heart
The man who forever tears me apart
The man who is gone
The man by my side
The man who waits on the day I die
