Mom...
words cannot express how I feel right now....
I just want to thank you for all you have done for me....
I do not know where I would be today....
if you where not there as my crutch when I needed you most....
you are the most understanding & caring person in the world....
to have and to love as a mother....
I thank my prayers from the good Lord up above....
for the prayers that were answered for the man I have become today....
I wish all parents were as supportive as you have been to me....
to talk when we need too stay quiet when we need too....
thank you for the life you have given me....
and the direction that you have led me in....
I will cherish all the memories, advice, & love you have given me....
forever and always....

I stood in your room over you....
looking down at you in tremendous fear.
It was hard for me to see you that way....
not knowing if you'd wake, wake that day.
You opened your eyes and shed a tear....
you'd have no fear, but still I was near.
Hand in hand, we would wait....
not knowing if you'd pass, pass early or late.
Grandfather, my prayers were with you....
for whatever you decided to do.
I said to you, "You would always have a life....
whether it be up with the angels or here with your wife.
I told you that if you had to go....
that I would still love you so.
....you passed that night....
with just me in sight.
Grandfather, you will live on in all of us....
for eternity, just because.
I love you Grandfather....

Friends are people who are always there....
people that give you hope.
Friends are people who lift you up when you are down....
ones that lift your spirits.
Friends are ones that make you do the unexplainable....
people, that through thick and thin, make you feel like angels.
Friends are people who are there through loss....
those that help you feel you can overcome anything, big or small.
Friends are those who are there for you when you are in great need....
ones who are by your side to plant that next seed.
Friends............
lean on them, fore they will be there for us.

Why do we not listen?
do we not need to listen?
Why do we ignore?
do we not need to pay attention?
Why do we stray away?
is that what we are suppose to do?
Why do we hate?
are we not suppose to love.
Why are we not reasonable?
isn't reason understanding.
Why do we not communicate?
are we not suppose to talk?
Why are do we fight?
are we not suppose to embrace.
Why can't we be truly happy?
are we suppose to be sad?
Why can't we live life to the fullest?
are suppose to live empty?
Why?
Why?
Is there an answer?
