Doing Cancer Alone

Am I not Loveable
with cancer
No loving touches, too few hugs
I am a cancer survivor
Yet so alone
 Questioning my fellow man
When I needed love the most, at my darkest time
People were hard to find
I begged for help
Most every test, appointment, radiation I sat alone
Oh yes I am stronger, wiser
At what cost
Where are my friends and family
Response from some folks was down right NO’S
My heart breaking and my soul is crushed
I fought so hard
Am still alone
I reached out to relatives
No word of comfort
What is life without touch, love
I need a circle of strength around me

My plea to the world
Care for your sick, fellow man
Do not be scared of illness
You can not catch
See the soul of the sick
Love them all you can
This gift of love is more healing than any cancer pill
Forget your fears.
Open your hearts
End others loneliness and tears

Precious Benita

Precious Benita

She told me you were gone
Gone, Gone where
She said you had passed
Oh bright sunny, woman
Full of energy,
Flaxen golden air
Great beauty of european flair
How could you not be here
We three girls had lots of fun
tears and fears
Oh could you not want to stay
Life can be painful and dark
I do not know what took place
Your reality must have been black
and stark
I can put myself in your space
Such a shock to hear you left
such a tragic way to go
I will remember a girl, bright, flaxen hair
with such joy

Dear Benita

Self Celebration

I am little and innocent
with all this love inside
Bursting at the seams with sincerement
I see the wonders of life
The ants making nest
they never stop, they carry load twice their size
work together with strife
I am an ant, never stopping, courageous, miraculous
I hear the laps of the lake
The blues, greens, the calm, the ebb of life, in and out
the waves make
The cycles of life, animals
all worked out by my lord
The learning never ends,
the wonders of life, is for us all together,
Here we are sent, to love and grow
bonded by a common cord.

Abandoned

Abandoned

Washed away
on some far distant shore
I reach out for
you, there,never, no more

How could you leave me high and dry
To wither and die
my soul, alas,cries

You r words are
swords upon my heart
cutting it open with a start

I long to be loved and to love
why is it so hard from you, human ,but not from
my GOD above

My Lod is undoubting
your love is flaunting
I lay down the clock and protective walls
No more will your ways make my worth to fall

Your arrows of words fall on my armour of steel
no more will I let your coldness determine how I feel
I am stronger and will go on to succeed
With Gods's love, thats all I need

One

One

We are all one
Red, black, white, yellow
We come from Great Spirit
 - the two, four legged
And the winged
All of us need each other to live
our home is mother earth
that sustains us and feeds us

Father sky gives us season, light and dark
cycles of the great moon and bright sun
seasons of life
give thanks for each day a new day
to the water that cleanses us
to the plants, four legged and fish that give their lives
to our brothers and sister
Reawaken yourself each day
look to mother earth an father sky for a new way
thank the ancestors and creator for our birth
think of how you will make this day with love, honesty, and good intentions
consider how your actions will from now on affect the 7th generation
then live your life the best you know how

Truths

Growth is a paradox
we try to change and put ourselves into everyone else's imposed visions
but the minute we stop trying to please
we get to be our true selves, a bright future, we can envision

no need to be like anybody other
life is for us, not to be like our sister or brother

we each bring our own special gifts
God designed it this way so He can have our company
And for HP, He creates each us like a rainbow, each of us is a bright hue

so get out there and be true to you

Christmas

It is the time of great birth
Jesus was brought to teach us to love here on earth
Let us show each other
Love, good cheer and in the Lord, stand by our brother
One life we have to live
Let’s bring our special gifts and give to our world, to renew and
relieve
Have faith like a child, and believe
Tis a time of peace, joy and love,
Heed the message from up above,
No gift is needed, except the true spirit of the heart
Come rejoice one and all, a brand new start,
The Lord Jesus’ birth is for celebration, come give thanks, dance and
sing
Be in the spirit , let your voices rise up and to the heavens, ring
Merry Xmas

Soul Mate

Where are you?
My fellow soul mate
I cry tears of loneliness
I long for you in my mess

To reach out to hug
To have your touch
To play and cuddle
So Snug
I need a daily hug
I need to be loved and to love
My world seems so small with no one to share
I have so much inside I have to give and to care
I though I would wait until I was ready
Thinking I would be more steady
I long for your hand to take in mine
Oh, on that day all will be fine

Spring

Warmth is in the air,
My winter blues are lifted without a care,
The birds are chirping,
Telling each other stories with flare,
Spring is coming!
The World is like a flower blossoming anew,
Sing, Jump, Laugh, feel Renewed
Celebrate the rebirth of spring
And the wonders it brings.

God is alive, painting with vivid hues
Sky so white, daffodils so yellow, crocuses, violet and blue
Smell and feel the earth, dark, rich and new.
The smells wafting o’er us with blossoms, barbecues
and flower scents coming through

Kids are jumping for joy,
Skipping along for they finally can play with all their toys,
Ride their bikes,
Climb the trees to its’great heights
People flinging off winter wear
Transformation, bounce in the step
and a perpetual smile is everywhere.

REJOICE!

Our Calling

O Lord, let me be an instrument of your love
Hope I can fulfill all you want from me, above
Am I enough to heed your call
As whole as you need me to be, for all
May I please you and be what you had in mind
Fight as I might, I hide from you
fortunately, me, you always do find
May I be deserving to stand in your sight

A creation so sovereign, I want to be so perfect and right
I hope to do You justice, send me where my service is needed
So I can do your work with loving dedication
I am one who wants your unwavering supplication, heeded
Let me be your faithful, willing, creation of peace, love and light
