Im Sorry

God I am sorry
I am done
I can no longer run
And I put the bullet in the gun
So let me pull the trigger

Mom I am sorry
I cannot continue to fade
Look at the scars I have made
I can not release the blade
So let me sketch, like a true artist

Dad I am sorry
This isn't my will
But every little pill
Reminds me I do not have to feel
An I have a chance to escape

Sister I am sorry
I just could not cope
And I lost all hope
I know, I should've ignored the rope
But I finally have my head held high

Brother I am sorry
I guess I did not find my call
But when I stood high on the wall
All I could think, was should I fall
And if I do, will I fly

Best friend I am so very sorry
I hope you continue
Not for me, but for you
Because I know what you can do
And unlike me the sky is no limitation, for what you can be

The Path

Walking a path
That leads her to her future
To where she has always planned to be
Where her family wants her
And where she thinks she'll be happy
The best place for her
A path of perfection
That lies before her
Yet in the end
She falls into her own misery
Crashing everything
That meant anything
And turning her perfect path
Into an imperfect memory

Why

She sits there
Trying not to cry
Thinking of the ways
She could die
And just wondering
A simple question, why
Why couldnt she just go
And lie
In her grave
Without people wonderin why
Whyd she do it
Whyd she lie
Why didn't she say
She was goin to die
And why'd she do it
Why didn't she cry
Did she not believe
We would try
To stop it all
To erase the goodbye
And begin again
With just hi
To make it simple
Or did she think we would lie
To her face
And turn around to say she was high
That it couldn't be true
That its all a lie
Because that place seem so great from the outside
Or would they believe and see their lie
But then they'd know
Why she cried
Which means she'd have
To say goodbye.
