An Ode To Nothing

Ah, nothing.
So glorious and divine,
As if it doesn’t exist.

My friend, here we are,
You and me to be,
An adventure awaits us.

Here and there nothing lays about,
Everything’s gone and disappeared,
No words to be said,
No good nor bad, just emptiness.

My friend, here we are,
You and me to be,
We are who we are,
We are nothing,
As if we don’t exist.

Fishing

Reflecting back I see beyond yesterday,
Light glistening brings a new view,
The water's rays rippling about,
I set my bait my soul,
The fish it agitates.

A guilty pleasure, wasting time,
Tomorrow's trouble I catch,
Yesterday's worries swimming under,
My rod and reel are the keel,
Thought enraptures me,
Learning bending recent history.

The safety of this doc disappeared,
I must've gone adrift somewhere near,
A horrid smell not so bad,
The past filets the fish all to well,
Tomorrow I bid, thou shall soon,
Time to fish, out to conclude.

Don'T Give Up On Me

Don't Give Up On Me

My heart's still pumping,
Blood is pulsing,
But I am bleeding,
Pouring out my love.

The beauty of our flaws,
I held on and took a loss,
You're happy and I'm in despair,
Gracefully and serenely you cry,
But I want to die.

Emotions rise with pain inside,
Your eyes they speak, tears of cold.
Hatred and jealously takes part,
You take him, my heart you hold.

Love's enigma, a beautiful maze,
An emotional game,
A sacrificer's gain.

Words and actions separate,
Your perfidious smile I hate,
Yet your personality I agitate.

I'm completely fixed on you,
My soul knows no other,
For I am your dear lover.

I'm sorry my friend,
This we can not end,
Our love is the universe,
A bright night, stars in the darkness.

I'm on my knee,
Don't give up on me,
I'm begging you please.

Raindrops

Raindrops tapping on a window,
Everyone knows the storm is coming,
No one takes shelter,
A gust of wind blows,
The dark clouds bellow some thunder.

Lightening crackles, no one sees,
Leaves rattle, emotions spike,
Silence strikes all,
The chaos is brewing,
Hello's and goodbye's they sing.

The storm inside us all,
Tears are languages unspoken,
The sky is clear, the stars they fall,
Everything unsaid, everything in awe.

Something To Tell Her

Something to Tell Her

As I step through silence,
My universe shatters,
My heart is pulsing, pounding now,
These echoes are haunting me,
My footprints are untraceable.

As I go to sleep tonight,
I'll wake anew with each breath being my last.
Yesterday is history, memories stowed away.

Today I'll tell her,
My courage will roar, no more fears,
Stepping into silence has never been so scary,
I've changed brutally,
All this hurt and pain and disdain,
My change is my repentance.

Once Again

Once again, it is raining,
And it's black outside,
While the sun should be shining.
My homework is left undone,
But my friends are lost with no help,
My lover, she misses me,
But I cannot go to thee.

Once again, the dogs are barking,
People are intruding and infringing.
I've lost my mind, but I don't care,
God is mad, but even he has not no will,
I've let everyone down,
Yet you must not frown.

Once again, you're beautiful,
Yet you're crying, blinding yourself,
Such gracefulness ruined,
But no shaming, you're still perfect,
emotions running through,
Smiles and giggles is all we can do.

Once again, the sun is setting,
As glorious and golden as ever,
the sky's jewel ends the day.
Darkness falls, interests speak,
Love makes its way,
My lover, she misses me still,
She's such a thrill.

Once again, as the moon creeps,
I walk the streets to her way,
Her beauty is my goddess,
Angels envy us,
Prettiness as she sleeps,
Dawn's light marks my farewell.

Once again, here I go,
To school and learning,
Ousted to love,
Her beauty I hold too dear,
For tonight I shall stay without a fear.

I Wish

I Wish

I wish I could wake up with amnesia,
And forget about life for a while,
I wish I could go to sleep forever,
But I'd miss your pretty little face.

I wish I could live under the starlight,
And take myself up in flight,
I wish I could just run away,
But I don't know what I'd say.

I wish I could wake up with amnesia,
Cause I'm falling all over the place,
I wish I could see you smile,
But I'm at such a distant mile.

I wish I could say I'm fine,
But I I know you're no longer mine,
I wish I could stop these tears,
But all I see are my own fears.

Maybe

Maybe I have nothing left to say,
Except goodbye.
These battle scars hurt so bad,
Yet all they are are nothing,
You don't know, you never knew,
You kept on walking…away.

Maybe I'm done, maybe I'm through,
Turn around and say something,
I dare you to.
My heart's turned to stone,
But my ears are listening.

Maybe it will all be ok,
I don't need you anyways,
But please come back, don't leave me here,
You've moved on long before I met you,
Good, maybe I'm glad to have nothing for once.
