Miscarriage of Trust

I was scared for you
of Knowing
Of the life growing
Inside of me.
The life let go
Like a flower on the first fallen snow
I didn't understand why
So I curled up to cry
So scared to tell you
Not knowing what you'll do
now you're mad at me
When all I want to be
Is with you
I care for you
No matter what is said
That's always true...

Underneath the Moon and Stars

Underneath the moon and stars that sparkled so brightly
I remember the wish I made that night
Sitting under the willow tree
I wished your love for me
I closed my eyes and prayed that you'd come to me someday
And say the words I long for
"Baby, I love you and only you Forever More."
When a tear streamed from my eye, I realized it would all be a lie.
I let my wish go and let it go die.

Underneath the stars and moon
That sparkled so bright,
I think about my wish that night
I know now that I'll find my true love soon.

Reality

Reality's not where I want to be
So I take myself into a fantasy
My life feels like a lie and a fake
Every night I pray to sleep and not to wake
I don't know how much more I can take
More people try to interfere, to muddle
All I want is to see my blood in a puddle
My life feels so astray
I honestly don't want to stay
It's so off-track, I just wish to go back.
To a time, To a place
Where I didn't hate to look at my face
Where the world seemed so fun and clouds never covered the sun
A tear falls down my face, as I dream of this wonder place
I realize that's all just my fantasy, and I'm thrown back into my dark reality.

Me

Why don't you open your eyes?
Actually LOOK at me?
Don't you dare close them
Keep them open wide
What do you see?
Surely you don't KNOW me, if you can't SEE me.
Perfection's not me. Not even close
Your perception's have proven false.
Perfection's not me.
Don't listen to rumors, lies, or gossip.
They don't know me.
Lying's NOT me.
I don't play sports.
Sporty I am NOT.
I'm not as skinny as society demands to be.
Hello?
Over here?
Super-model is NOT me.
Do you WANT to know who I be?

I'm an artist.
A writer.

Yes, that's right
That's ALL ME

The Rain

The rain was my friend
I loved it
The way it streamed down my face, tracing my smile
As it drips completely to the earth
I loved the feel of it falling on my head
The sound when I was drifting to dreamland in my bed
But now, I don't love it anymore
You loved it
You still do
But then you told me, "I don't love you anymore"
I can't love the rain anymore.
My tears are now the rain streaming down my face.

Untitled

All this sorrow
won't let go
because of you
this hate will grow
into an obsession
of Revenge
hurts so bad
tears won't fall
Eyes are dry but sad
think of you
and they turn mad
this flame of revenge
will one day singe
all my love
not only for you
but for others
and one day
I'll never love another

Sadness of Fae

Under the full moon so bright
She gazes off with her inner sight
Dreaming of a love pure and true
Wondering what would beheld
If her soul and another could meld
She folds her wings underneath
Lets a tear fall down her face
Knowing nothing will do
Without love so pure and true

Real Friends

Real friends won't turn the other cheek
As you're on the ground to weep
They pick you up, Brush you down
Hold you close
And tell you, you're never alone
They'll never let you go
Real Friends
They laugh They cry
They help you to get high on life
They will hold your hand
Whenever you feel yourself about to fall
One last thing and that is all
They love you for you, and not the pretend
They love you for you, until the very end.

Hidden Influenced By Everybody's Fool By Evanescence

Hiding within one's self
That's what this all is
Pretending all's well
Pretending perfection
Hiding all truths.
What's behind your mask?
Or have you fooled yourself too?
Take the mask off, reveal your eyes.
Or are you too lost in all your lies?
You say nothing that's right.
BUt in your bed at night,
You mind's screams echo
Don't you see me?!
And how you've betrayed me?!
You think to yourself, you've got everybody fooled.
Look around!
Look around and think about it!
That's not true.
YOU are now Everybody's Fool.

Follow Your Heart

I'm trying so hard, so incredibly hard to stop my eyes from crying.
From releasing these built-up tears
My mind is thinking
Crying is not the thing
Just keep it all inside, let it build
You'll be alright
Just keep it all out of sight.

My heart is screaming
Don't listen to that ill-logical being!
When you bottle it all inside,
You'll wear down
Break down
Listen to me!
Don't be someone all pretend
For this hellhole you won't be back out again
Just listen to this part
Follow your heart.
