We Are Soul

We are Soul
Please believe me
Just relax and you will feel me
Whispering to you in your dreams
I am you and you are me
Always together for eternity
We are one
Can't you see?
Always forever never apart
Living and loving right from the start
Come let us run for tomorrow awaits
Waking is so very hard to take
You know me in your sleep
But you forget me when you rise
Please believe in me
Just realize

Wonderful Trees

Wonderful things are trees
waving about in the breeze
showing off their color and light
what a beautiful sight
Protecting the birds that live high above
helping the Earth, protecting from flood
Whether mighty oak or tender sapling grow
it is up to us and our children to sow
A tree is like eternity, reaching for the sky
It can be there when we are born
and there when we die.
From weeping willow to tallest pine
all the wonderful woods and forests are mine

Love Is All

L ove is everything to me
O nly people don’t seem to see
V oices from the inner regions
E arnestly telling us to simply care
I nside messages we cannot recognize
S tymied by years of ignorance and greed
A mazing dreams if we could but see
L inked into love through past lives unknown
L et the light shine through to a mind at peace

End of Life

End of life
When will it be?
What is life?
Who can tell me?
Surely the church would know
In its high and mighty stature
Towering above the city in splendor
Sharing its love for those in need
Keeping its knowledge from those who read
Forgetting the poor if need be
Remembering the rich for its own greed
Who can explain the unending need of man for God?
Spirit will soar above the spires of men
Destined for who knows where or when
Can man remain upon the Earth
when fire and flood will someday come
We are but seconds in the days of life
Destined to die in mortal strife
God in his wisdom high above
Looks down on us with his perfect love

My Cat

My cat is so lovable she really makes me humble
She loves to play and cuddle and roll around and tumble
She can look into my soul with those oh so seeing eyes
What does she feel as she licks and cleans her daughter?
I can only say its love, what else?
I watch her as she sleeps, I can see that she dreams
I know she is a soul, just like you and me
Please keep in mind this simple token
That we are all part of God and the chain cannot be broken

A Flower Is Like Heaven

A flower is like heaven.
It is with us for such a short time.
Although heaven is eternal, it is fleeting.
We cannot grasp the significance sometimes.
We can’t see the truth for the beauty?
Life is a puzzle for sure.
Maybe God wants us to figure it out for ourselves?
But man is a vain creature, he only wants the reachable.
The unreachable is fleeting but still there.
I can see it sometimes in my dreams, reaching out to be grasped.
I sleep, I reach, I grasp, I hold, I wonder, I marvel, I wake, I lose.

Time

Time goes by so slowly
Life goes by so fast
We are just the sand
In a desert so vast
Time is the reaper
We are the corn
Time is so plentiful
when we are born
When we get old
Time is the same
But you and I cannot remain
When we are grieving
Time is the healer
When we are sleeping
Time has no meaning
When we are dying
Time does no crying

What Is God

What is God?
Is it the Power?
Or is it a man?
Could it be an Alien?
I like to think it’s a person
But I’m probably mistaken
All the knowledge in the mind
Just makes it harder to define
I’d like to dream and go to heaven
Just to ask to see the boss there
I would ask him why the world is so troubled
He would have to admit it is a muddle
I wouldn’t trouble him with little things like the weather
Although I would ask why people have to die in earthquakes and floods
I’m sure he would understand the needs of a simple man
To want something to believe in besides religion
Religion doesn’t help they are all the same
Professing to be better than the rest is a silly game
I think I’ll get into yoga it might help me pass over to Nirvana
Then I would know all the secrets of the ages just like the sages
And I could share it with everyone and say it was from above
But people would probably laugh at me for telling them to love
So I will just tell you my friend I’m sure you’ll understand
Simply love, that’s all
And now I’ll go to bed
I think it’s for the best and I do need the rest.
Good night.
