Strong.

ALL ALONE
IN THIS CORNER
I ALONE
CAN STAND
TO BE ALONE
CONFIDENT
INDEPENDENT
SELF-RELIANT
I ALONE
CAN STAND
IN THIS CORNER
ALL ALONE
SOLITARY
SILENT
SINGLE
STRONG.

!not Me!

!You can’t classify me!
You can’t label me on a list
Or tie me up and put me in your pretty black box.
I’m Original.
You have never seen anything like me before.
I broke the mold.
I am new creation.
You can’t place me in a group.
I don’t belong.
I am an individual.
I set the trend.
I don’t fit in with your petty misconceptions.
I don’t follow your rules.
Instead I break them.
I am my own person.
I am not your typical teen.
!Stereotype someone else!

Endless Road

I don’t know where I am going
Or what to do from here.
My head is spinning in circles
And the road is not quite clear.

I wish I knew what was going on.
This pain is overwhelming
And the walls are closing in.

I can’t tell the sky from ground.
The dust is rolling in
I don’t know where I am going.

Lost

Wandering through the forest,
I can no longer be found.
Standing amongst the trees,
I can no longer be destroyed.
Screaming into the distance,
I can no longer be heard.
Speaking to the birds and leaves,
I can no longer be understood

Weeping Woman

Gritting teeth,
Nervous with wonder,
Screaming from the inside.

Eyes dying,
Pouring out their souls,
Waiting for the light.

Hands clenched,
Pulsating with fear,
Like ice ready to shatter.

The key to her beauty,
The key to her pain,
Just out of reach.

Ears ringing,
Cut off from the outside,
Allowing only belittling thoughts flow through.

Wool cloth,
Constricting and bothersome,
Shielding from the cold and bitter truth.

Rage beyond her,
Pain all around,
Jealousy seeps from within.

World is watching,
Does it see her?
Just needing acceptance….

Circles

Drowning in your perfections,
Strangled by your deceptions,
I am waiting for the truth and lies to be sifted.

I have known you longer than you me,
You watch me, but cannot see me.
You reach me, but cannot touch me.

Overwhelmed by your expectations,
Suffocated by your wishes,
I am never going to get to the corner of this circle.
