Neetu Wali Poem
Every life tells a story
Who writes the one?
Did I say I am a writer?
Do I write words, just Words?
I write on paper
Make o boat of write
The boat sets off in a pail
I smile at my life
And then
I laugh at me
Is that life?
What an absurd comparison of
A rope with a snake
Where is life?
Where is breath?
Where is movement?
Where is it
In a pail???
Or out in the ocean

Neetu Wali Poem
Impressive doesn't impress
Keep it simple
My soul whispered
Touch the ground
Feel the dirt
As simple as that
Clap your hands
Slap your face
Hurt is the cost to wake
As simple as that
You can write big
Diamonds and pearls
For stones of words
I ask you my child
How genuine do you express
When you desire to impress
Write to express
Not just to impress
As simple as that

Neetu Wali Poem
A leaf on the ground
Leaf from the book of my life
Lying dry and lifeless
On the scorching earth
I walk over
My tired feet
Feels the sound of bloodless pain
Death could not kill pain
Who that could be
Had the leaf a grave
I would have written
POET
A befitting epitaph
For the carver of epitaphs
I am sweet
Yet a bit bitter
I am love
Yet a bit hater
I am honest
Yet a bit cheater
I am content
Yet a bit jealous
I am beauty
Yet a bit ugly
I am Godly
Yet a bit devil
I am human
Yet a bit inhuman
I am peace
Yet a bit unease
I am mindless
Yet a bit spontaneous
I am usual
Yet a bit of wonder
I am silence
Yet a bit of thunder
I have no colour
Yet a bit rainbow
I am everything I can be
Yet I carry nothing in me
I am wild
And a bit of nature

Neetu Wali Poem
I have a dream
A dream to be
To be me as free
I have a dream
I don’t want to see a dream
I want to live a dream
Can a dream be more in me
Than in my eyes
I have a dream
I don’t want to be wise
I just want to be
I have a dream
I want to live in freedom
Rather than in wisdom
I have a dream
I want to breathe
Breathe fresh and scented
Every moment
I want to be a rose
Did I say, I just want to be?

Neetu Wali Poem
She was so simple
Yet her face had a glow
Her genuine and pure smile
That stuck to her lips every moment
And seemed dutiful to her
Made her more beautiful
Every guy looked at her
With eyes full of desire
Wanted to feel her skin
How many of them approached her
What they got in response
Was just a genuine smile
How could she explain
The reason of her glow
Ignorance can never
Understand innocence

Neetu Wali Poem
I asked a dove
What is love?
Birdie smiled and asked
Whose love?
Ok---- let it be my love
I replied with a surprise
Down bowed the little head
Face spitting gloom
Tears rolling down
I am here
Bound and inside
A small stinky cage
This is your love
He said in a breaking voice
Then what is love
I enquired, my eyes
Starting to open wide
You see me fly in the sky
Vast sky and fresh air
Shiny stars and glowing moons
This is how
My God loves me
Then why he lets me cage you
I asked, sadness in my eyes
He never lets you do it
You do it against-----
Before the bird could finish
Something inside me
Opened the door of my heart
And the bird flew away

Neetu Wali Poem
Make me your warrior , i pleaded
Buddha looked at me
Eyes rising like sun
Gifted me his sword
smiled and said
Have faith in me
Walk my way
But if you happen to
Meet me on the way
Kill me with my sword
I would be delighted
To taste the sword
sharp enough to hit me
I want you to be
The first and last you
