The Maze

THE MAZE

I'm lost somewhere inside myself,

I'm pretty hard to find.

I got caught up in my crazy life ,

when I lost my freaking mind.

I retreated to a cold dark place,

it has no windows or doors.

but it has many walls just like a maze

it keeps me occupied for hours.

I like it here in the zone,

seeing only what I want to see.

A perfect place to hide away,

where none can get to me

Faith

FAITH
Heaven only knows what the future holds,
and she's not inclined to say.
No guaranties no certainty in knowing
So you will have to rely on faith

Suddenly

Suddenly, in a flash
Like a gallant leap or a mad dash
Everything that used to be
Was suddenly history
Life as I knew it ceased to exist
And became what I’d always wished
Not in my wildest dreams would I have ever known
All the wonderful things I would come to own
And I am not just talking about material things
Also, circumstances, my entire being
From inner beauty to physical health
From serenity to endless wealth
In every single shape and form
My life was completely transformed
Grace was given to me for my faith
And eternal life through his name
Everything is so beautiful
So complete I am finally whole
It’s hard to convey the entire concept
You won’t believe until you have experienced it
But when you finally do, you’ll be taken back
So in aw you’ll lose your breath
One of these days the time will come
And you will finally get to see the son
It is then you will know you are a chosen one
You’ll feel such love that you will cry
Someday we will meet again
On the day you die….

Success

To each their own interpretation of success

Though, what makes some think they are above the rest

when in every circumstance there is merit to be earned

for even those that lose the race learn

for life has many angles at which things can be perceived

and many many ways victory is achieved

tell me,

could a man rich with money and servants to his beck and call

withstand alone one night on the streets with no resources at all

Creepy Crawlies

Creepy crawlies in your head
Stay away from the living dead
Is itself delusion coming over you?
Or are you finally able to see the truth
Evil creeps up on unsuspecting souls
Can make the warmest hearts black as coal
Caution given you better heed
Do not feast on that in which the wicked feed
The foulest stench rises up from the depth of hell
The darkest fury burns the worst of smells
Do not breathe the toxic air
It will thieve your soul and leave you without a care
The shadows of darkness are always trying to reel you in
Keep your sight straight ahead, pay no attention to them
Curiosity has cost the strong there lives
The purest hearts are blind
All ye who have yet to bow before the king
Better get wet before you fall prey to the beast

Karma

I want to thank you for all the terrible things you've done to me,
You shined a light on some things I hadn't seen.
to say the least i was selfish and insensitive in the past
I've been given a taste of what was owed to me,at last
so in a sense you are my punishment.
advise to you fair warning and final hint,
you better watch what you've been given.
for soon you may be living it,
what comes around goes around once more.

Lost Cause

You've long since given up on me.
although you have never had faith in my abilities.
always a tad bit shy of your approval,
unworthy of your praise,
look at me now...
you must be proud of the winner you've raised

Rage

Pouring rain falling down on me
Soaking wet with the wind's cooling breeze
Wash away the burning heat
The rage that fuels the beast within me.
Let my thoughts drift away
And release all of my negative energy
Take slow and deep breaths
In my head echoes my heart beat
Take from me my rage
Set me free

Time

If today was your last day here on earth,
Think about it for a minute or two.
Knowing you have limited time, what really matters to you?
Are there sites you've always wanted to see?
Are there things you would like to do?
Does everyone special in your world,
Know how much they mean to you?
Everything that's taken for granted
Is so precious, when you have limited time.
It's then you realize how briefly we are here.
Life passes by in the blink of an eye.
If tonight was the last sun you saw set?
And tomorrow's sunrise would never be seen.
Throughout your life would you have any regrets?
What would you change if given the opportunity?
There is still so much I'd like to accomplish.
There's no time to waste.
It's important to make every moment count.
You never know when today could be your last day...

Procrastination

What are you waiting for?
The bottom to fall out ?
Opportunity to pass you by?
For time to run out?
Someone to call out your name ?
Do you need an introductory ?
For it to sit right down in your lap?
For it to fall right at your feet?
While you sit idle waiting,
For what remains to be seen.
You could have already accomplished
A hundred million things
