Rainau Hu Poem
Drop
Drop
Patter
Patter patter
Pattering pattering rain
You forgot to bring an umbrella
But as you stand in the gentle rain
You soon forget, too
You ever needed one
An outstretched hand catches but a few
You turn your face to the sky to better feel more
Water beads flying by
A tangible view of a different perspective
In the company of the sound of the drops
Life is at a standstill here
The greyness of the world to the eye
Somehow is so beautiful
In the rain

Rainau Hu Poem
Hey
Do I know her?
She looks familiar
Maybe I did
Hey
Do I know you?
You look familiar
But you don't think so
I remember now
I remember you, that time
We sat in class together
We were always sitting together
But no, you say no
I don't know your face
You are mistaken
Yet I try again
I remember now
I remember us, you were
My very best friend
We were always around each other
You shake your head
I excuse myself
Turning away
In part because of shame
Because I did know your name, once
but I forgot, and now
I wonder, because
You did know my name once, too

Rainau Hu Poem
Waiting for that right moment to say the wrong thing
Cold calculations made precisely
Nothing can go bad in the plan
It's perfect
Time stops
A gunshot through the flash-frozen
A smile at the shattering pain showing
Or more like a scream
The hunt winds down
Everything is still perfect
Everything going according to the plan
At last to claim the prize
Bring it back dead or alive you say
But that it is too much to ask for
It can kill one so, so easy
Too much to ask for one alive.
